I can tell that I would not buy nearly as much crap from the ps sore if I knew I couldn't share it. Me and my friends, between us, have literally bought nearly everything thats worth buying on the ps store. we would never have bought so much if we couldn't share it.
People who use programs like maya, 3dsm, blender, etc that also for whatever reason have a ps3 that they don't use 24/7 for playing games.
You know, ps3 can do stuff while you sleep or work on something else in your pc, unbelievable right?
El_Colombiano, thats not true. Downloading works fine, I just bought some stuff from todays store update and downloaded it in the background just fine. Multiplayer works fine as well, you've just configured something incorrectly.
You could batch render 3d scenes pretty nicely.
Not having access to the gpu doesn't change a thing when you're rendering. Although I didn't buy my ps3 specifically as a render box, it was a nice bonus. The ps3 renders scenes in a matter of minutes that takes my pc an hour. So yeah, it was a pretty nice feature to have for similar tasks.
Well, I use the ps3 for rendering, works pretty nice as a render box actually. Unfortunately I won't be able to model while I render after april 1st, unless I buy a seperate render box which is pretty expensive where I live.
Well some people use their ps3s for rendering. I know the ps3 is alot faster at rendering than my pc. This is very inconvenient.

Don't bullshit me. Ultima is not based on grinding xp for levels like eq. Wow is a Eq clone. Ultima clones are few and far between, unfortunately.
Why is there almost 1,5$ difference between the water pack on the eu and us stores? it costs around 7,5 dollars on the uk store.

Almost every single MMO I've played over the years is a variation of Everquest. I wish more Uo clones were released and than at least one of them would be more fun than the original.
