I am most pleased with the announcement of these maps and the added classic oasis and harvest day maps. I am displeased with the timing of these releases, "VIP" content and DLC (even though I rarely buy DLC).
As a whole I don't blame the programmers at DICE with these descisions because they are to this point still king when it comes to a modern "Battlefield" experience.
I do blame the people controlling these descisions, weather it was the VIP content...

@Observer, You are absolutely right about the skill of the player doing the review should be taken into fact. Sure going 30-0 dose not mean the review will be the best, but it does show the reviewer has some common sense and experience in gaming to verify a opinion. Day 1 for me.

Actually I think the review was really done well. He noted that their is a different control feeling with the two games he showcased (COD/KZ). And since this device is for the PS3 he used the consoles benchmark shooter to demonstrate.
Aside from the VIP rip-off shi8, I am actually surprised these game modes are coming out now/soon. I actually thought it would take 6months for them to decide to release it like the other ones.

both are good franchises in their own right. But if I had to pick one it would be halo. Not because I'm a Halo fan, but because of the SCI-FI aspect of it. I'm tierd of the G.I. experience . You turn on the t.v. your exposed to terrorism/war/ political shit. Not to say Halo doesn't have those plots in some similarity, but that's for fan's to break down.
No one would be complaining about new maps if the maps were done right. port valdez and section 3 of luagua press are so bottlenecked . There are no fcking flanking routes. Warlord, strike at kirkand, even BF2143 maps were way entertaining. Shit even Oasis, and Monestary were good.

My patients with DICE / EA is thining or whomever makes these ridiculous decision's to release these modes. It's a rip-off, this shit should of been released out of the box from the get go. Im a pro BF supporter so this stings abit, but knowing BFBC series is a spin-off , DICE / EA can redeem themselves with a BF3 announcement ( I know , unlikely ) . I will continue playing BFBC2 , not because its the best shooter ever. But because there is nothing else on the market IMO to rival it...

I don't know about everyone else but Im sick of these maps. I wouldn't bitch about it if they were all good, but some of them are poorly done. I don't know what DICE was thinking , probably trying to cater to the casual player. The game is good but the bottlenecked sections are retarded. Oh and this VIP thing hasn't showed me anything of value yet.
I ain't slamming BFBC2 totally , but even with destruction I had more fun with BF2 (for its time ).
