To me, it makes more sense to announce those games ASAP considering how many people will decide to get the console based on those (lack of) upcoming first party titles.

Yeah most likely fake. Alot of the info is old and alot of it inaccurate and focuses too much on older games. If you're promoting a new game you wouldn't bring up the old ones like that.
