Well, it's been about 28 days since I last commented here (I think)... so I might as well indulge. :D

I see absolutely no reason to give it a go... if you're unsure whether it's your type of game, you could either Gamefly it, or just give it a rent. Every game is going to sound rubbish if you simply boil it down to it's bare-bones like you just did there... there's more to it than being a prettier version of Mario Bros., mind.
Seriously, everyone should at least try it. Not every single person is going to love it, but those who do, love it a lot. :)
Even a big, scary, manly-man like myself can't resist Sackboy's charm... he really is awesome. What's more, is that he's the absolute perfect mascot for Sony; he can masquerade as any video game character, and is thus symbolic of variety, potential, and the dynamic nature of Sony's usual games libraries.

Well, I don't know about you lot, but I want it to go over to the 360... the franchise deserves to be as successful as possible, right? So, I don't see where the harm comes from in allowing even more gamers to enjoy it. It's not like the PS3 version is ever going to suffer if it gets ported to the 360... if anything, it's the other way round.
And yes, I own (and thoroughly enjoy) the game on PS3. I'm just saying.
You could always use the 360 controller with the PC version... or even the Sixaxis.

Look, I'll try putting it simply. The only type of person who's going to feel "slapped in the face" by this is the sort of person who'd buy a 360 just for the DLC, think about it for a minute. Otherwise, they're not going to be worried at all. The reason why you think they will be is because that's what you want to believe, since believing it makes you feel like the winner you can't be in real life.
I don't understand you... it's the highest rated 360 game too, you know... and I would have though a GTA fan who's enough of a fan to care about this DLC so much would have gotten a 360 by now, in order to get the DLC. If they're not that dedicated to the series, then chances are they won't be getting as upset over it as you seem to think they will.
I suppose believing that makes you happier though, so that's okay.

Given the sort of games that get perfect scores nowadays, this game definitely deserves a 10, if they do. However, from a subjective standpoint, no game deserves a 10. Everything needs to be reviewed in perspective to other games now though, because of the unprofessionalism in games reviews nowadays.
I always called God of War "GoW", and Gears of War "Gears". GeoW sounds silly. "Gears" sounds much better, and only one letter longer than "GeoW".

Hey, it's just to appease Halo fans... it may not fit, but it's not like there's any harm in it. If I was a Halo fan, I'd probably be rather enthused by seeing Master Chief in the game.
