They also said that the back of the room was about 4 feet from the TV. Is that within the 6 feet required/recommended by kinect manuals? Based on where they were standing and where the TV was I would say they were about about 4 feet. (It sure as hell wasn't 6 feet.)

I'm a console gamer, I own all three consoles. I stopped gaming on the PC because for everytime I needed to upgrade my PC I could have bout all three consoles all over again.
PC Games my look a bit better, but console games are more consistent, you don't need to meet a bunch of expensive requirements to play on a console.
That's what haters do, they hate. Why you ask? It's defense mechanism usually due to fear or jealousy.
Look around, watch you typical hater, notice how the person or thing they are hating on threatens their interest.
