Gears 5 Forza 4 got to try dead by daylight, state of decay, played some Halo lol tomb raider, metro Exodus lol I mean the list is crazy alot of quality games

I think he's just talking about the leap to next gen, it will be a huge leap. Ps5 will have similar visuals or better in some cases. It's going to be amazing.

@alvira didn't Sony release their streaming service first? The future is headed that way, these business have to be ready for shifting climates, I don't see physical game releases ceasing anytime soon, and while I understand your concern Sony was at the forefront of this, but Microsoft is executing this alot better.

@akard I understand what you're saying, but honestly Ive purchased tons of games in my life, and when a new gen arrives I don't ever go back. Not sure how many people do.

@anubis I think it depends on the game, but Yes for most games it should stay between consoles, just creates a larger gaming community.
Cross play is a great option, but I do believe it should be optional.
YouTube doesn't really do games justice IMO you've gotta have a 4k TV and actually run the games to see how big the difference really is
The point of PlayStation is there's millions and millions of console only players. So as long as it's a console exclusive there won't be an issue for them.
Don't know why you would want to play the game on 720p, I'll be playing it after they increase the res or the ps5 drops.

Lol it will be interesting to see what it can do. the thing is visual quality increases with each gen if Sony uses the same type of assets textures etc, on ps5 then I'm sure it will be possible; however, chances are those things will be improved drastically and they may need to scale back other things to make it happen.
People need to remember that GP is also releasing launch games on GP, and not only are the games being released downloadable on Xbox but also PC. Also if you only game on PC, then you can opt to only get the PC version of gamepass and still enjoy certain games day one, and not be limited by 720p streaming! As a matter of fact you can actually share your GP sub with others so that's two for the price of one, if you have family that's a huge plus as the cost can literally be cut in half...
Witcher 3 for me, but Last of Us was a fantastic experience.
