How many plastic instruments do you need?
"We at Capcom just realized that people will buy our old games even if we don't patch in trophies or provide any upgrades to the visuals/gameplay and we just figured this out with PSN so we're going to get our old games to you."
BTW, I will be buying Resident Evil 2.
the early adopters got full backwards compatibility. I think some of the 80gbs do limited bc. With PSN showing Sony that they can make money off of old games, I guess they're going to give us BC so we can purchase some PS2 games.
I would buy Ico in a heartbeat.
That's a really low amount. 299.99 if you non-PS3 owners are lucky. At 250.00 it's a steal.
Wow, you totally went 6th grade who would win in a fight between Spiderman and Wolverine with that comment. Bubbles for putting in the effort.
And btw, Cole would win hands down. If you've played through Infamous you've seen what kind of powers Cole is going to have.
But I'm saving for Red Faction and MLB 09.
One of my friends just gave me his PSN login info so I'm about to download FFVII, Castlevania SOTN, and Bomberman. I planned on doing schoolwork on my flight tomorrow but now I'll revisit the world of FFVII.
Big ups to Sev for doing this every week. Not many sites are willing to guesstimate what the PSN content for the week will be.
after all he is a highly educated man. I think he's just ignorant (cue the MJ soundbite from that one South Park episode) about gamers and what gamers want.
I watched Hulu on my laptop even when it worked on PS3. I tried it once and the quality wasn't all that great. The words weren't exactly synching to the lips of the people talking and there were a lot of glitches in frame rate. No big loss. I want more game specific functionality for PSN rather than stuff like this anyway.
And anyone who's had their computer crash on 'em has felt somewhat fortunate to do some basic things on the PS3's browser. Not having Hulu is not a big loss. ...
why is this news? A lower number update will come before a higher number and we have no idea what will be in either and that's news?
but considering what's lacking now, that's like at the bottom of my list.
allowing custom avatars, displaying my trophy level underneath my name and doing the same for all my friends, maybe displaying some sort of notification when a friend achieves a trophy I don't have in a game when I boot it up. Sorta like what DMC4 did. It didn't matter to me then because the "accomplishments" weren't trophies but that could be cool with the trophy system. And, of course, certain bloggers/podcasters won't stop complaining about x-game chat so I guess implement that a...
they can do it for this. They say each conflict can end differently? Well there you go. You get a trophy for surviving a fight with Mad Jack and you get a trophy if you avoid the fight altogether.
Finish the story with any one character w/o dying and you get a trophy.
This is just me thinking off the top of my head. Trophies can be done for the game.
it is kinda too early. The PS3 hasn't even been out a full 3 years and we're looking at the PS4?
why not bundle it with a headset and a keyboard for use in Home?
if the writing in the movie is close to the game then I'm sold. I just hope they don't make it cheesy or spare on the money. Don't tarnish the good name of Uncharted. I'll pay close attention to this one. The right director and lead actor could really pull this off.
love that every now and then your avatar gets new clothing. And in a weird way, my avatar resembles me. Can't wait for 1 v. 100.
considering that FFVII just generated free money for Sony and Square. Marvel v. Capcom 2 is going to do the same. It's a win win. The fans want it and the publisher makes money on an old IP given a new level of polish and trophies.
I swear I should become an exec at a major video game company. These guys are really out of touch in some regards.
it's come sooner and sooner every year. Back to playing the AAA games provided so far I go.
over this generation. I'm holding out hope that FFXIII is going to be that game that brings me back into the Square fanboy group which I once belonged to.
