@ Doug, u r wrong about last gen differences, COD was a difference of like 10p and the same with RDR. And btw the difference of 480p vs 720p is less then 900p vs 1080p. The ps4 is being underutilized and to say otherwise is completely false and ignorant. @ smooth, dude I have a xbox aswell and it was also down on Christmas and new years eve. It was due to a ddos attack on both...the only networks (gaming) online were Nintendo and steam. That old cliche of live being better has to die because it's tired. @ smooth, last time I checked Sony's "crappy" network is the only one with shareplay, remoteplay, PSnow, crossplay, and voice messages lol. Xbone is simply a generation behind (they have been leapfrogged) from a hardware and network perspective.

@corn, I understand this, that is the only reason it IS acceptable on PSnow (even though it points to a all streaming next gen console, "DRM" future), however Ms wants to implement DRM on single player games under the guise "cloud ai, or cloud physics". So without a "cloud connection" the games will be "disabled" disc based or not.
It's a scam to increase positive public perception of DRM, the proverbial carrot on the stick. Btw PSnow is a completely optional serveice (but is paving the way for all steaming (DRM) console next-generation. MS is trying to implement DRM by claiming "cloud benefits" to locally owned (digital) or disk based games. SMFH
@ elephant, lets be real they both had their fair share of outages during the holiday...I own both and they are both equally stable, however psn is more feature rich (shareplay, remoteplay, crossplay, and voice messaging) all of which xbox Juan is lacking
