Just bought an XB1S yesterday in the Black Friday sales (got the BF5 bundle with Shadow of the tomb raider and a now tv pass(a UK Netflix type thing) for £200).
Only justified it as was cheap and I don't have a gaming PC (have a Macbook lol), also like the idea of gamepass.
Overall have to say though, if I was picking only one console I could play it would have to be PS4. Exclusives are much better and most people I know are on that, making MP a much better experien...

They spread themselves too thin by announcing certain games to early. There is a gap between PS4 last games (TLOU2, DS and Ghosts) and the Ps5.
However they can turn it into a positive by having a massive PSX next year at the end of 2019 with it being the 25th year anniversary of PS and announce the PS5 for its 2020 release with masses of new game announcements.

Finish RDR2, because wow the story really pays off.
It may be because I literally have now just finished RDR2, but the 'feels' I got from the main story ending makes that game GOTY for me. It's not for everyone, its (extremely) slow paced especially up to like chapter 4/5 and the gameplay/combat can be clunky at times. But god damn what a masterpiece Rockstar have created.
Still patiently waiting for UK Black Friday deals to appear...
My personal GOTY is RDR2, for some reason I couldn't really get into GOW, however am yet to play Spider man so my GOTY could change.
Im still yet to play Persona 5, Horizon Zero Dawn (I know crazy) and Spider-Man.
Hopefully they use this extensive gap between the next elder scrolls game to use a new engine...
