They didn't show nothing new because they made the mistake of announcing game's prematurely last year, the same mistake Sony has done this year. Dont expect many new announcements from sony at next years e3 as they all but announced their 2017/2018 games.
Also Project Scorpio is not aimed at the core audience and most of the hardcore audience already have 8th gen consoles so i doubt it will greatly affect sales as the core audience only really care about playing fifa and cod ...

I agree, especially with this Windows 10 and Xbox partnership, they're basically tapping into the PC market which will only help boost software sales, although like you said will hurt hardware sales. However MS have always been a software company tbf.
I'd give it an 8/10. EA would get a 5/10 and I would give Bethesda a 7/10. Hopefully Sony can come out with a 10/10 ! (One can hope atleast XD)
Do you understand how conole development works ? There's something called manufacturing something which takes several months and seeing rumours that Neo's coming this year i'm more than sure AMD have already supplied the hardware to Sony.
You have to factor in 2 things, Usually when consoles are released the company incurs losses from selling the hardware (e.g Ps3, Xbox One with Kinect etc.) So building a similiar spec PC to the Scorpio wont neccesarily be cheaper. Secondly, the PC hardware isn't optimised to it's full use (bad ports always occur e.g Arkham Knight) While with consoles dev's squeeze all the power out of it as they can (i mean look at Uncharted 4 on the Ps4 lol).

Meh, futuristic warfare is becoming stale ! There's too many good games coming this fall and i have limited money, so ill wait a bit on it.
I feel like they announced this game wayyy to early. Game wont come out till 2019/2020 and people are impatient so will start complaining :/
