Nier 1 was sleeper hit in Japan, it had great story and unique world. If platinum game can perfect the gameplay it is destined to be hit for sure.
One JRPG is not gonna make people jump on it. Besides PS4 has better JRPG coming for it like DQ XI, Star Ocean 5, DQ heroes 1 & 2, Persona 5, Disgea series, Tales series, and Many more. All these are exclusives or console exclusives. Most are bigger hitters moving tons of console on their own.

For me personally best in series is MSG 4 and followed closely by MGS 3. It is due to various reason and I like Solid snake story line and characters in Solid snake games. IMO Solid Snake Story > Naked Snake Story.
Bloodborne and Zelda Majora Mask are only exclusives in the list which is pretty impressive feat.
I predict three more exclusives to be added as tear end namely Uncharted collection, Halo 5 and Dragon quest heroes(which already sold 1 million copy and worldwide release this Oct)

Square Enix West CEO is Full of Bul***ap. Not only he was responsible for hitman no physical version yet but also responsible for Tomb raider time exclusivity fiasco.
Luckly SQ East CEO is too good and understand gamers by announcing games like FF7 remake, DQ XI, DQ builder, DQ heroes, Nier 2, Star ocean 5 and etc.
One of many must buy title for ps4 in 2016. Hopefully it releases worldwide march 2016.

And they said Sony lack of Gamescom press will hurt them but last Europe sale is PS4 369,670 while X1 is 120,235 shows Europeon knows best.

45or60$ is good enoigh for a game game with multiple ending. even we take 7 major ending with 9 hours per playthrough you get 63 hours that is more than most modern titles. This game has 100's of different ending so it is worth ever buck.
My aim to kill all the guys in 1st playthrough. The deserves all the postive reviews it gets as it's awesome(2hours in).
