Can we all take a moment to be perplexed as to how Xbox is selling 20k consoles a month in Japan? That's surreal af.
Just the cherry on top, knowing I went all in on Xbox this generation. Seriously though, as a gamer, I feel bad for Sony fans who still haven't gotten their hands on one, outside the US market of course. It's insane to increase the price on two-year-old tech, no matter how you try to spin this. MS could seriously capitalize on this by reducing the price of either system or just sit back and laugh and still capitalize. What an interesting generation this is turning out to be lol
Whether you agree with this or not, the reason it is being stated is because the acquisition is still being investigated. Therefore MS lawyers are now finding out the details of Blizzards past contracts with Sony and laying them bare in court. Quick glance though, it makes perfect sense for Sony to block titles appearing on gamepass, as it's no different than timed exclusives. At the same time though, it shows Sony's fear of the platform itself.
Absolutely nothing in this comment makes sense. At all.
Typical of IGN to misquote him and make it seem like he said the market leader of worldwide sales this year. He clearly said NA market. Worldwide, Sony has been winning, with Xbox only winning for a few months.
Wow, Xbox outsold switch and PS5. American market only of course. Everyone is doing pretty healthy numbers.
Nonsense, that secret sauce is still better than overall specs/hardware.
It's nuts that people still buy their games, single-player, as they are indeed bloated with microtransactions and pay-to-gain-experience services. But honestly, the worse offender is that they killed Juno in a comic book. The main villain in the assassin's creed story they had set up for over a decade across more than 5 games was killed with no fanfare or reveal. All Creed games since have been nothing more than adventure games with no impact to overall story. Crazy.
"Nobody is buying ps5." I wouldn't go that far.
Has sold almost a million more than the ps5 in the US this year. There was an article about it, but N4G users didn't want to post it lol. It's even beaten Sony worldwide in some months, but to be fair, it seems to be a fairly even divide this year for global units, supply constraints and all.
What's wrong with a walking fed-ex simulator??
Which Xbox series x games prevent a full upgrade?
I mean... it was an announcement for an announcement.
There are too many games to play. My schedule is a mess. My life is a mess. My wife walked out on me. A few journalists are burned out, well so AM I! Gamepass is the worse!
Yeah, I really don't think Sony or MS went on and said, "Yep, we got some new upgrades in the pipeline, let's discuss it with TCL." It honestly looks like the manufacturer guessed the "PRO" models for their presentation, just for hype on their new models.
Yes, I knew this BS article would get submitted on here, but the response was wonderful. Gamepass chose violence lol
Because it was a mostly online-only, GAAS, launched on only one console game. Even with crossplay, these three things pretty much assured a quick death. Had it had single-player content or a single-player game, might have survived a little longer.
@IRetrouk
That is only partially true, and it's actually because there's confusion about digital purchases. You have to LAUNCH the game at least once, because this verifies the license. The license isn't automatically given with your purchase. So some people weren't able to play some games because they never launched their games. It's the same thing with Sony. If you buy a game, download it, but never launch it and turn off your internet, you cannot acc...
Wow, he really did run this site into the ground. Is Fishyfingers still around? I think there's less than a hundred users here now. Jesus.
