The simple facts behind Nintendo handheld success, is children. It's aimed at children, as are the games, and parents purchase for their kids.
Vita isn't primarily for kids with many mature games, it's main age group struggle with money that their parents aren't there to give. Simple.
As for those above saying Wii u is fine, hasn't ps4 and xone preorders already outsold?
Having patiently waited for 7 years+, I'd never pass up the game, no matter how good or bad it becomes. Though, let's be honest, it'll be one of the better FF titles.
My point really ( regardless of disagrees ) is that on beta, you couldn't go above 720p on any monitor/TV. So, how can they push 4k when 1080 isn't even an option.
@malokevi I don't do maths, nor do I care, it was illogical out of jest. Let's drain all the fun out of the post shall we?
We don't need to rush into the next gen, games aren't super optimized for it.
Saying that, I'll go next gen for the start, always have.
It's all options, I never said replace the existing bundle.
They should do a bundle with Fifa, for humility sake, seeing 2 consoles being the same price, offering the same games, but one has an extra pad for that said game? ding ding ding.
To be fair, Fifa 13 animations are just recycled from 12, so even 10 new animations is 10x
I couldn't even see 1080p on Beta, what's up with that.
Please happen.
Yes, let's make the name easy for the casual market to understand. Just like we did with the Wii U, that didn't do badly at all.
Some people at Nintendo need a slap.
I would put PS1 second, or even first, to be honest. The birth of so many great franchises ( Tomb Raider, Resident Evil ), the amazing evolution of many others ( Metal Gear Solid, Final Fantasy ).
Gamecube being high is a strange one, sure, it had some great games in Wind Waker and Starfox, but ultimately just didn't give enough. It did have the most comfortable controller though.
I'd love to see some of this Bungie hate. I personally ( as a Sony fan since 97 ) loved Halo 1 and 3, never would bash the company despite console choice.
My gripe with Titanfall comes mainly from the point people are saying it's the second coming, ignoring the part where it plays like CoD with jumping.
It'll never end, in any medium.
I wonder if you're the same kind of people who thought Lair maxed out a PS3, and that only TLOU looking titles could be PC only,
I think there's more to it than we know.
I can run BF3 ( and any other game for that matter ) 60fps on max settings on a card that's factually less powerful than what's said to be in the PS4.
Either Sony is lying, or Devs are being lazy. I'd put money on the latter.
Looks like fun, can't complain getting it "free".
This went straight over your head.
This has been a terrible article, full of worse comments. Both systems have terrible launch games, that's a given with every console launch.
Multi-platform games will be the best of the bunch for at least a year, if anything is to go off it should be price and promise, otherwise buy a PC.
@xJumpManX
"you should not have to pick your hand off the analog pads"
Really? How does one play any game ever made.
