p2p - pay 2 play, if there was some sorta mandatory pay 2 play service , then i for one would go back to ps1 era and buy all single-player games since thats where its all single player games, who needs online when online gamers will drain your energy out of you while your playing online with them. Whereas single-player your going at your own pace.
I agree with you fitler, I noticed how Sony's marketing for games is just the campaign ad of like It does everything slogan, but in a way its not catchy its just too mellow and dull. In the past things use to have that eye-catchyness to it. Like bayonetta commercials it shows like cut-scenes from the game and having a good song to match the cut-scenes and the gameplay too. Marketing for games it should sorta be mandatory or something for companies to aquire the steps to a good marketing comme...
Heavy Rain is a game that the developers have like that goal to connect to gamers in a way how previous games did the real-life emotional attatchment. Like final fantasy games or other games where the character build/characters persona sorta engulf the gamers with like stories they can relate to or just having those memorable nostalgic moments. I think this game will have alot of character building so that the gamer grows attatched to the character to where they want to a. refuse to go the ba...
Some developers are afraid to take risks, but i think it comes from the developers hearts and how they really pour their heart & soul into their project knowing the gamers may not really like the final product to something that the developers think the gamers will really like.
i think square-enix are tired of ff franchise, i honestly think they should go back to their roots and making new ip's rpgs like how it was with saga frontier, xenogears and many others. They can really do this, and then when the time is right they can get back to making ff franchise once again, and take a break again and make new rpg ip's
Its different but im sure itll work , the game style. DII lords of destruction haves a more gritty darker look to it , this one seems like a different vibe but im sure itll be done well.
i have a 320gb hdd that i upgraded to so its not a big deal for me those who use 40gb i hope they can manage to get rid of some video content or mp3s on their ps3. They will find a way.
little big planet to me was the easiest just the bunker level was hard to ace , when getting that trophy where u have to ace all the levels without dying.
I liked how it implemented action + quick time events. qtes are not tiresome if done correctly and not overused like for every little back 2 back moments.
I think there should be a cute scaled down version for wii, and the 360 would have its own shinmue story and ps3 would have its own too. That way everyone can have it. And as for technical issues they would be eliminated since each system within the years would match its meaty like standards to the game.
Id like to see Saga Frontier its a brilliantly planned well executed rpg plus very good nostalgic rememberable music.
It should be free since how psn is free online gaming and how rockstar already got their plethora amount of cash from microsoft from it being exclusive. That would sorta inject the rockstar brand + playstation brand back to its roots as a good relationship once again for its fans. But same goes for microsoft + rockstar relationship in its unique way of having exclusive content to make money.
Strikes again!!! thats what i skimmed when i scrolled down briefly so it didnt spoil me, or anything.
From this article the quote : "Are you prepared to suffer to save your son?" sounds like there may be a Ransom in the game and how the character have to try to save his son i guess. Maybe its not a spoiler but a clue to what to expect i shouldnt of opened this article knowing i had to hear something lol.
@Kakihara - I agree i cannot watch it so im not, since in trailers too much of things get revealed, parts you want to see that are new to you the first 9mins intro didnt show much so it didnt spoil or reveal things it just gave everyone a taste, of how its similiar to indigoprophecy / fahrenheit.
I think if l.a. noire was exclusive it should stay exclusive, but if rockstar haves the say of making it exclusive it would based on how red dead redemption being multiplatformed, and how rockstar get a chance to allow exclusive rights to the game l.a. noire based on how they gave microsoft exclusive dlc for gta iv.
Okay so in fahreinheit/indigo prophecy (console version) you get good vibes earlier on its an amazing game decision making and how it makes your choices different thru each play thru. But the story seemed very strange later on but the earlier on momements till the middle of the game was superb. Heavy rain makes up for that Since how the story will stay on track most of the time in search for origami killer. This game gives me the same vibes i felt when playing fahrenheit for the first time i ...
The shirts for completing the four-day challenge u get a exclusive heavy rain shirt for u.s. & for signing up if you have a euro psn its for euro home which i already have for euro home for signing up.
So Agent may use the same engine as L.A. Noire. Meaning more free-roam space for Agent and L.a. noires free-roaming may be capped but still a good game.
When Heavy rain tech demo video i Wonder if there will be a dlc of that like the audition tech demo if theres like gameplay a mini story or spin off or something. Also the review was a french review of the game its probably no bias, since how its a reviewer thats reviewing the game based on the in depth analysis from liking and playing it or something.
