I disagree. I enjoyed my PS3 since LAUNCH DAY. Only complaint i ever really had was In-Game Messaging. Besides that the PS3 has been a wonderful experience. And the value of the system has gone up with the Firmwares.
If you dont like to wait, then DONT BUY NEW HARDWARE @ LAUNCH. DUH. Wait a year. :-P

I rather have a company try to Hype up its latest device and produce a quality piece of hardware that feels like a Mercedes, then buy into a cheap, rush job like a scion which was BORN TO FAIL. (M$ KNEW ABOUT THE INHERENT DEFECT) I'd call that the BIGGEST REAL LIE (Not Hype) There is!@#

They do this because Instancing is cheap as hell compared to having 10 different models in memory at once. Instancing FTW.! Still figuring out exactly HOW-TO find a nice car when you have a crappy one would be a nice.
