Resident Evil..scary? RE was never scary. It had cheap jump scares and giant monsters that were never scary. I've seen clips of Deadspace and yes it does seem to be much scarier than RE but Silent Hill defeated RE a long time ago and Silent Hill didn't need giant monsters to work their effect but a simple radio and a small flashlight. (SH1 and 2 only)
