Yes trade in your early model ps3s that's having problems playing one game that could probably be fixed with a patch for a system that could possibly break the second you hit the power button thus forcing you to deal with crappy customer service and sending them your console for weeks to repair only for them to call you a thief if you ever wanted it back. agreed it happend to me on FFX on the PS2 I got halfway through the game when it froze on a cutscene so I never got to finish it.
standard version working fine for me 60gb non-release system.
Being able to replace the car models was the best part in a PC GTA but the hardware requirements would be massive and my pc and wallet just can't handle that.
I wouldn't be surprised if Gamespot did rate it a 8.5 because it has "too much variety" in gameplay like Ratchet & Clank. Uggh..gamespot..
GTA will always attract controversy it's just a part of what GTA is all about. It was a huge controversy when GTA1 came out and 2D sprites were blasting each other into pixel oblivion and it's been a controversy ever since. If no one tried to ban or censor the game then it's just not GTA and Rockstar obviously did something wrong.
I'm curious as to who's going to be buying these 400 million copies because if you were to combine every ps1,ps2,ps3,xbox,xbox360,ninte ndo gamecube,Wii owner in history I still don't think it'd hit 400 million..There's not even 30 million PS3 and 360 owners combined out there...
This is one of the reasons why I never pre-order online and would rather drive myself out there and pick it up personally.
Yea this is NES only...Ghouls and Ghosts was much harder and another hard-ass Sega game.. Gaires..I don't know if anyone played it but it made me want to kick a kitten across the room. I think the games of old which were much harder made me more angry and violent-prone than games like today (GTA). Sure I can bust a cop's head in with my fist but that's much easier than trying to dodge 100 projectiles coming at you from all angles on a 2D plane.

Sony can disable your ps3 on the machine level which means it won't even function anymore this feature is going to be used against hardcore offenders who are going to post user generated content that's illegal to post (penis levels on LBP for an example) so it's not hard to believe that they can ban people. Besides it's only for a week.
I don't understand why people take the time to type all this out. I mean if you have a 360 and all your friends do then ok get the 360 version damn it's not like the rest of us are all huddled at a corner worrying what version you're gonna get.

I'm getting the PS3 version to start off and maybe it's the video quality but the contrast seems better on the 360 version I don't know maybe it's just me but I like how the black stands out better in the nightclub and outdoors I dont know if it was the weather but it looked more moody and atmospheric. Other than that yea identical.
Actually a lot of stores have broken street dates esp in Europe.
