In fairness, Krib is right. This bundle doesn't mean they're giving up on PUBG at all. The F2Paywall issue is real, but separate.
Common sense would indicate that, as the US is Xbox's strongest sales region, them performing poorly there would mean similar/worse performance elsewhere.
I'm with you there. That issue has gained zero traction amongst the gaming press, though. For whatever reason.

But again, as is evident from the comment histories of those most vocal about it - those pushing for it the most were other fanbases.
That's not to say there weren't ps4 fans that wanted it, too. But they generally weren't the ones lauding Sony over it.
Goes some way in explaining why locking f2p games behind a paywall wasn't a bigger deal. Thats far more anti-consumer imho.
