I disagree. The only reason Zelda didn't work well on Wii was because it was technically a gamecube game where wrist flicking replaced button mashing. That's why nintendo needs to give the next Zelda 1:1 sword fighting, otherwise, it will be idealy the same as twilight princess. If Nintendo plays their cards right, this Zelda game could probably take away Mario Galaxy's title of "Best game on the Wii so far" in Nintrndo Power.

I will not stop praying until I see a trailer for a new Zelda. Sure, they can always verbally announce a new Zelda, which they've pretty much confirmed if you search the archives, but I won't stop until I find a trailer.
Besides, I'm sure that their announcements about new games from now on will be games that include Wii motion plus. After spring 08, most Wii games will use Wii motion plus.

Nintendo could've told the third party developers about Wii Motion Plus months before E3, but that would risk an early leak. At least the third-party developers have months to create games around Wii Motion Plus. They're lucky that nintendo didn't wait to announce it until just before release.

E3 announcements are all over the news, making it easier to reveal casual titles at E3. This means that Nintendo may release the subtitle of the new Zelda at any time.
