Im sorry ill take this over that watch dog disaster, if it is true, any day
i always referred to jigglypuff as a her lol weird to see it in that way
dont you mean all....
this is cold heartily the truth. I do believe that smash bro if they wanted could be released sooner than we think but strategy wise i believe they are holding it back to test the waters with these games, if mario kart doesnt do much then all nintendo has left that's a big seller is smash bro but its a stretch
im a huge Nintendo fan, i have all their freaking systems but it true their just isnt a game that has attracted me. Some people throw out all these games that i know are great but im not basing them on quality, they just dont lure me into buying them. Something like mario kart yes i would buy.
To your point your right they should have released mario kart, shoot it should be one of their launch games every gen. A game like that has alot of replay value and every one buys it....
It is but business wise and how it is doing for Nintendo as a corporation not so good. As a fan of Nintendo and fellow Nintendion , sometimes you just have to admit you win some you loose some, to stay in a battle that's an inevitable defeat is prolonging the recovery. Their already have been two different mario games on the WiiU one 2d and the other semi 3D, that alone spoke volumes to me on how desperate Nintendo is trying to fix this problem.
I say test the waters, if mario kart or smash dont give you the numbers you want sales wise, then thats the nail in the coffin and just move on. Mario 3D world did good but not to what it can and i believe that's a first sign of worse to come. So test waters on your other top system sellers especially mario kart and smash bro, whenever that is coming out, but if the present proves anything, it a good indication if mario aint selling then this pipe is clogged just move on.
yea their marketing approach with the Wii was top notch. Then with the WiiU they have these obscure commercials that give no lime light to what is the WiiU, then on top of that release a revamped Wii MINI WTF, advertisement is literally non-existent and i live in nyc i see nothing Nintendo anywhere, not even on the buses. Other than near their home store. i just think The WiiU was such a surprise i think even for Nintendo, its as if they were expecting for it to just sell on its own just caus...
i mean the Wii was a cultural phenomenon and i give the guy props for taking that risk. Yes Nintendo wasent the first with the idea of motion controls but they put their neck on the line and wow did it pay off. As for the troubles now i can understand from the focal point of business and the strategy that was put forward is not catching up to the promises and hopes that they give out and investors and gamers are upset. You make all that money with Wii and 3ds but this mistake is basically tak...
those are some great points. The trophy achievement system is something i never was fond of but Nintendo games are notoriously known for being solo player orientated. having an achievement system gives the game some longevity. Another was the system design, i was always fascinated when a new system would come out and wondered how it would look and especially start up, i still remember the Gamecube tune like it was yesterday and i loved the dreamcast start up as well, those were always a pleas...
people seem to forget this is not a first. Virtual boy was Nintendo worst system an utter embarrassment, great idea but to ahead of its time. Nintendo so called mistakes are just ideas that are just not ready to be unveiled, gamers are not into it. But even after the disaster of virtual boy and this was more than a decade ago when the corporation didn't have as much money as now and even after that disaster we are still here talking about Nintendo because it will take a lot for them to ju...
@ErryK what a dumb profile name, I make the same sound when I cough up spit...you're on the wrong site if you don't like opinion and facts. We ain't your momma so we not gonna lie and cater to you and say how right you are. Grow up
Its because it is non existent but i know how you feel. At one point 3ds was the worst thing in the world now it has the world on fire and is blazing in sales but no one talks of the vita which means "life", what an ironic name for something that has been dead since itS birth HA!
I was always said it was a double edge sword, yes their was great success in the wii and i agree it was more damaging in the long run. And yes i also believe the WiiU failure was Nintendo using the Wii name to an advantage but it back fired and as i said it was a double edge sword. They took the risk but i have friends that are gamers and think the WiiU is the Wii BUT in the end of the day if we are basing it on success he has delivered be it pure luck, their has been plenty of money being ma...
Ive always been a big fan of the brawl sub-space Mode since the characters interacted. Very similar to how marvel goes about things, they give it a family presence, all characters interconnected. Sub-space had that feeling and was pulled off great in my opinion, of course it could of been done better but I was satisfied . I hope this mode has some differences between characters, each character can have a small story connected to each of them that will eventually connect to each other characte...
As I always said, yes he is a big part to blame but the 3ds was under his management , the wii as well. These systems may not interest the so "hard core gamers" but they can go get a vita....o yea that's right , they picked a name for a system that literally has no relation to it in no.way sales especially. Any way my point is that he has had a successful run and has made Nintendo.plenty of money. But what people must remember is that their is a board of investors that come to a...
And how does this help them in the home console market that they literally created. If your some one who won't buy there system but want their games, then buy the damn system. The idea of people wanting them to go software because they want their games on another system is illogical to me. But then on the other hand their are people who would buy an xbox and ps which are the same thing, they mostly offer the same games since on those system rely a lot on 3rd party software, unlike Ninten...
Coincidently this article shows up now. All this mumbo jumbo talk because of the recent doom articles now this, damn unbelievable. Also I don't need an article to tell me this common sense tells you spech wise their gonna push it to the max while having a reasonable sales price 350$ in my opinion is a price they would love to hit, since their ideas of inovating gaming seems to bore the majority which is ridiculous their gonna take the power route. Also if it is true they could give consol...
blame is every where when it comes to to business in general. especially for a company of this caliber, as many other big companies. There is always a board and ideas must be pushed around before anything is made, yes he is the CEO and he is the face of the company but their are others. If a change is done, the obvious answer is Nintendo needs to just catch up tech wise with whats popular now. Their ideas and imagination are top notch but honestly a big majority of games could care less, back...
Sounds very interesting. In the end of the day its inevitable, Nintendo wants to stop the bleeding and the worst mistake any business/company can do is loose consumer trust. Pushing for more games be it for next year or years down the road, you work on it now, show something at e3 or Nintendo direct and get people excited. Even if the games are years off at least we have confidence something good is coming. Nintendo just showing the consumer they are serious in pushing the WiiU to heights uni...
