I've been saying this exact thing about the density of the setting, 3rd person would be so claustrophobic and awful in such a close open world.
Just finished my first play through, it's a fantastically fun game. Great combat, super fun story, just the right kind of hilarious, non-intrusive bugs. I played on PC and had nothing that stopped my enjoyment of it. Stoked for the DLC
Who cares about crossplay when you have the best single-player game lineup? Also the whole fornite thing is wildly blown up, you can still PC/ps4 crossplay. Clickbait article through and through.
Really seems like the FPS decision is more of a design choice. We haven't seen gameplay and there are already lots claiming to boycott/calling CDPR S*** because of it. It's going to be in a crowded city, probably filled with narrow alleys and indoor settings, 3rd person would be very annoying if the camera constantly has to swing around/avoid environmental interference. 1st person makes sense if the environment is going to be super crowded and full of stuff. Most of witcher 3 takes pl...
I also wouldn't be surprised if the 1st person decision is just from a map architecture standpoint. How annoying would it be to have a 3rd person game where you're going down tight alleys in an overcrowded city all the time and getting next to no movement or camera, or worse the camera swooping up and down all the time trying to keep vision of your chracter. Witcher makes sense because most of the time you're out in the open, but I bet a lot of this is going to be in much tighter ...
1st person mod for witcher 3 was actually awesome. Also they're one of the best devs out there in terms of support and getting value for your money. Not to mention story and gameplay. If you don't trust them that's entirely on you, they've given 0 reason to doubt them. Settle down clown.
Nice! How is it?
Hahaha, just got through that part in GoW, wish there was a "smack atreus upside the head" button.
Exactly, game was awesome, I'm probably going to play it again, but instead of being a smart quick dude just be some big dumb illiterate ass. GoW is too good and FC5 takes up most of my PC time.
Was about to write exactly this, like there is no way to do a speedrun without already knowing where to go and what to do. Also this game is clearly not built for that, it's so detailed and rich with lore that you miss the point of it by just blasting through.
Why is there a video of boats in Holland?
Once your park is completed you should go into a 1st person survival game as the park devolves into chaos. I'd play the hell out of that.
They've also been making this game for years, like the current political climate wasn't as divisive probably when they first started working on this, just like Wolfenstein 2, people try and attribute current events with something that has been in the works for at least 3-4 years.
Haha, yeah I've been launched into the air a few times during a fight, but landed without any damage, so it was just kind of funny. Did the bird thing without any issues, other than just wandering around a lot.
I'm about 15 hours in and haven't come across any game breaking bugs, a couple of funny aesthetic glitches, but it's definitely as polished, if not more, than skyrim or fallout 4. Game is super fun, story and voice acting are excellent, and the quests are definitely engaging, Dialogue is funny and there are tons of little surprises, combat is really fun once you get a hang of it. Excited for acts 2 and 3!
Seemed cool, but it also wasn't optimized when I played the first time on my PC and forced me to stop playing it. Was running 1080 60fps on a 1070 fine up until then.
I have about 10 Hour in it so far and it's one of the more immersive games I've played. Totally invested in the story, there are definitely some weird glitches, but I haven't found anything game breaking yet, mostly just funny things. RPG elements are some of the best just in terms of how everything you do contributes to your growth. I'd love to see the "practice makes perfect" kind of leveling show up in more games. You want to get good at archery? well you're g...
@runningx looking forward to having an exclusive title, even if only for a little bit, eh?
Hahaha, so Detroit: Become Human? Would that be a 2nd person game? I want to explore this more.
