Yeah, I was pretty apprehensive going in, but I was pretty blown away after playing it. Everything I've wanted in a fun shooter for a while, but the fact that it's single-player only is a bit of a drawback, probably won't shell out 60$ for it. Though with the different options, difficulties, and styles of play, might get a few runs out of it.
Keep in mind folks, this is an Alpha, and it still played better than the Wii Smash, looking forward to seeing how they improve and expand, should be kickass.
Marty nooooo
Who says you can't do both, it's free!
Who said first time? They did the same thing with the Gamecube and Gameboy Advance too, but very few of these games had solid integrated features, meaning that what you did on the gameboy very rarely could be used in a game for either the N64 or the Gamecube, I'd like to see a console pokemon where you could take it with you, catch and train, and then upload these to the console version, kind of like with Pokemon Stadium on the 64, but much cleaner.
Good read!
Nintendo could learn a thing or two from Sony, okay several things, but we'll not get into that, by making the DS something that can expand on the Wii U experience.
Can't wait to se what comes out of Pax East for Watchdogs
They are the main reason i'm making the xbox -> playstation switch. Amazing story-telling through gaming.
Nintendo needs to bring it hard this time around, get people excited, and on another note they need to pick up some people from Irrational games to make a kick-ass Metroid game.
Haha Ariados
Thats awesome, hopefully it'll fund the sequel
espurr... those EYES
Definitely a good way of getting somet interest rolling, and hopefully larger investors. Sadly a lot more is needed to make a solid game that plays well.
I'd love a return of the character specific specials from double dash
Probably going to get this for multiple platforms, just so they make a new one. All of the Oddworld games have been amazing, but a stranger's wrath sequel where Abe and Co. get more involved would be amazing.
You're not buying the kinect, think of it as an add on, should they sell one without it? probably, but it's also a very cool piece of technology that you might enjoy if you actually tried to use it instead of just whining about having to pay another 100.
Makes sense to me, Titanfall is more of a multiplayer driven game whereas South Park is single player, major fans will buy it, but for those curious, renting makes a lot more sense.
Can't wait to see what they're up to, Mafia 3 would be great!
I saw that article too, and I don't know if that was a super easy difficulty or what, but the version I played had much better AI, they responded quicker and didn't just stand there taking bullets.
