You've got to be kidding me. Since every 360 owner feels it's their duty to buy anything with Halo on it I'd say it's perfectly logical to assume it's the exact opposite of "noobie free". I like how you had to throw in there: "The most challenging FPS multiplayer on consoles", that's the equivalent of saying "He's the best 1 armed basketball player we know".
I've been using Windows since 95 and have yet to be swayed by any OS. I don't really see how MS videogame division's issues with the 360 has to do with software. I think it's funny that several friends of mine waste their money on over priced Apple products/software.

He was pointing out that you can't download custom maps in game like other Steam games like DayofDefeat, and CS:S. Do a little more reading before disagreeing with someone's post.

You have a good point. The PSN store needs better organization. I must say though the only game I regret buying off the PSN is Crystal Defenders. I made the mistake of buying that even after playing the demo. When I'm unsure about a game I just look it up on the net but I'm sure there are plenty out there that just get confused and delay their purchase since there isn't enough info on the PSN.
At least you know you'll only need to buy one or the other :)
I am too. MS had a deal running a few months back. If you registered with a student email address you got Home Premium for $20. I couldn't pass that up.

I'm having trouble getting into Uncharted2 thanks to Demon's Souls. Truly a great time to be a PS3 Owner.

I agree, I thought the story was great and I enjoyed the characters but I disliked the gameplay. I understand it's a great game and wish I enjoyed it as much as the rest of the gaming community. I'm just not big on Western FPS/TPS RPGs.

I agree, no wonder they're closing all across the country. A buy 2 get 1 free deal is pointless if you don't even stock the current games people are wanting to buy. Oh well I'll just continue to use Amazon and NewEgg.

No unfortunately that's not how it works. With any deal like this it's always the 2 most expensive items you end up paying for. The lowest priced item is what you get for free.
There isn't a conspiracy concocted by MS and the gaming media. Sometimes great games get made for the 360, DEAL with it.

Fall out 3 for the PS3 was full of bugs and was an example of how NOT to create a multiplatforme game.
The developers of Forza decided to not restrict their game based on catering to every single 360 SKU. Taking off points becuase they did too much is just plain idiocy. MS messed up by sticking with DVD and not having a hard drive standard. I'd love to see what the Forza team did with a more stable and consistent platform (PS3)

That should be a con against the 360, not this game. With your logic they should of limited the game by not including so much data.
I'm a PS3 guy but I don't think it's right to take off points for a game simply becuase it offers more content than every SKU for a certain Platform can handle.
It's been a long time since I locked myself in my bedroom, put the phone on silent, and lost myself completely in the game. The combination of the difficulty and there being no pause really forces you to immerse yourself in the world. It's such a great experience.
I laugh at those buying games with 6hrs of gameplay for 60 bux (you know who you are) while I embark on a quest that's going to give me hundreds of hours of gameplay for the same price.
