I find it funny I got a 'disagree' on that, do some people here on n4g have no sense of humour at all? Hmmm - maybe I just answered my own question. haha!
So Slappy Appy will be OK? Phewf!
Looks good! Thanks for the link
Hard to believe that's Skyrim - crazy good
I'm on Xbox One - I'd love you forever if you have one!
Arghhh - looks awesome, still haven't got my beta code yet : (
Nice article! Although I think some of these were loosely based on movies anyway (some from the eighties too). I can't believe we don't have a Gears movie yet - it's just so perfect for it.
Very well written article, was a great read. Its possible Steam Machines could be the death of Windows gaming, eventually. However it's unlikely they will be certain death to Windows completely, there is too much of a widespread business use for that to ever happen.
Furthermore all the Steam machines that have been annouced are going to be dual boot with both Steam OS & Windows.
If games run optimally in Steam OS, and run better than they do in Window...
As posted on the article in the comments section - just for some more clarity:
You are probably right, and call this pure crazy speculation, conspiracy theory or whatever you like. The article only came to be as i had a conversation with a 360 owner who was at first desperatly disappointed in the delay and again disappointed today to find they won’t have a chance to participate in the beta. He had no reason to buy an Xbox One as he was happy to keep playing on his 360, but wi...
It says that in the article yes... not sure what your point is though? Do you believe everything PR and marketing tells us?
Its complete speculation of course, but 2 weeks is enough to drive some sales and still not anger those who won't make the jump, not ridiculous at all.
Also leaving the 360 version out of the beta (another marketing ploy) - is possibly a device to make people impulse buy the Xbox One, just for beta access.
This looks really interesting, I'll definitly be backing this one. The UI needs some desperate help, but the Kickstarter page mentions it's just a work in progress and will change. Great stuff.
A Pokemon MMO exclusive to the Wii U, using the gamepad is a no brainer to me, it'd pull the Wii U out of its current state and into new realms. There's an article that touches on that here: http://n4g.com/news/1441034...
I don't think it's impossible, especially as Nintendo are restructuring, and they do own the IP and can do essentially what they like with it.
The PS4 control has an issue where the rubber wears off on the analog sticks - pretty ugly but I'm sure they will fix this on newer models.
Great article for the new comer to FUT in Fifa 14 - a lot of this stuff isn't explained in the game, and I know when I first started playing FUT I was a bit lost at first - wish I had these guidelines to go by!
A fantastic game, based on the books from one of my favourite authors. Wish Telltale games would make a new one of these!
I don't mind Cliff, the original Gears was a great game and it wouldn't have been the same without his involvement. His recent appearance on the Pointless Podcast with Kevin Pereira was one of the best I have listened too. I'll certainly be interested in whatever he does next.
First I have heard of this game, sounds interesting, like a DayZ minus the zombies and a single player story, I'll be keeping an eye on this one, sounds promising and the concepts look pretty decent.
I understand where you are both coming from, and in no way is snapping an app the same as remote play, and that's not the comparison that is being made here.
The comparison is, and I believe that most will agree that when you use remote play, it's when the TV is being used for something else, it just so happens you can watch TV and play games on the same screen with the Xbox One, that's the only comparison being made here.
In some cases they aren't all developed internally no, but they are grouped together for sake of this list as they own the IP
