I do see what your getting at here but I personally disagree with skipping this game, the recent trailer seems to be showcasing a lot of missing features. If this could step up and be better than XIII surely thats only a positive
However I really want Versus, Noctis reminds me of cloud and squall a bit, but darker. That is a role I cant wait to play

I Loved the world it was set in, now that world can be explored properly, For me day one buy now garunteed. I know I will get disagrees but this is just my opinion.
The biggest let down for me in XIII was that such an amazing world could limit me so much from seeing it. If this changes, it could easily be my personal favourite game world

More or less all Downloadable (retail) PSN games get stripped down to the smallest size possible without removing/damaging data. Its a great feature. Agreed graphically this is way beyond demons souls. However the more important point is that bosses look even better, and the world looks more memorable, If combat is similar and just as hard, With more armor and weapons to choose from then this will be an upgrade in every single way....

I know this must sound so typical but I just want some console footage, I would love to max it on pc. But I just cant afford to. I'm really interested to see the draw distance for objects and grass on consoles as I felt oblivion needed that little bit more in both these aspects.
That would take more than just a good laptop, Now don't get me wrong, I know good PC specs are easy to achieve these days. But sometimes people over play it. That sort of laptop is going to cost a substantial amount more than either a PS3, 360 or 3DS. Laptops these days will easily run current games well, But emulation isn't so straightforward, And I very much doubt my laptop could do 60FPS 1080p ps2 emulation without days wasted tweaking, Even though it runs current games pretty well...

Read the article at least further than the headline, its not hack related at all. Its down to people having more than one account being able to download the games on different accounts. Many people have one for each region
Downloaded Burnout:Paradise, James Pond (classic), Ratchet, Dead Nation, Streets of Rage 2, Killzone Liberation AND LBP PSP. Now thats a sorry, Im aware a lot of this is plus features that will be removed, But I plan to join this month anyway.

Im shocked, Demons souls was awesome, but this? WOW! The landscapes look diverse, with little memorable points like the massive crow, but most importantly, The Bosses look even better, tougher, And sometimes even more fitting to a fantasy realm, This looks ready to blow DS away

Well I am not sure about the rest, But Star Ocean is not actually a SquEnix game. Its Tri-Ace and published by SE. I agree they are slipping, However its good to remember they are a VERY large scale publisher and as such will publish a lot of poor games.

Not really, Playstation is OpenGL I am fairly sure. If it were to happen consoles would likely just use OpenGL. That said, there is no reason to kill off DirectX

Personally I would actually like to see this game given to the SCEJ studio. The fight scenes feel so heavily influenced by anime fight scenes I would love to see some devs from Japan have a crack at it

It is the beach in XIII. Doesn't mean its not a town though. with towns confirmed for Versus and SE having given the story of XIII as the excuse for not having towns, I doubt they will be missing, and would be surprised if this beach is not part of an explorable town now
