Nintendo dominated last gen also with 3DS. Rest of the world however:
PS4 around 55 million sold outside of Japan after 40 months on market.
3DS around 45 million sold outside of Japan after 73 months on market.

What do you mean? This is US only. So far this gen PS4 leads by around 2 million (cca 16 vs cca 14million)
Well, Switch version will be released after PS4 version. Plus, there are 4 million more PS4's than Switch consoles in Japan.

Exactly. Switch is less powerful than PS4/Xbone which released in 2013., has, without a doubt, the worst third-party support, and online service like Xbox Live from 2005.
It's not really popular just like Halo 5 and Gears of War 4.
