I see what you are saying, but why are not other gaming sites/mediums held to the same standards? For example, you have sites like IGN who get guys affiliated more with XBox to review GT5. Or are we still going to deny that PS3 games are reviewed to a different set of standards on many sites that XBox games get a magical pass on?<----would you do me a favor man and honestly tell me/show me what games got a "free pass"?

If your a good driver and don't want to be babysat than just speed through the first couple of licenses and you will get to level 20 in no time.
If you are a noob driver than just put your ass down and learn to drive without crashing so that your ready for when damage will ruin your race don't worry about damage yet its not burnout.
i disagreed simply because i shouldn't need to be a level 40 for damage, i should be able to "receive" damage the min after i install the game.
gran turismo prides itself on realism, but in real life trust me, whether i'm a driver of over 15 yrs, or a new driver of one year we both have a wreck guess what we both have DAMAGE!

i got this on sale thursday and it's a good game. however their are some still nagging problems with it performance wise. this is why i can't fully agree with a perfect score.
i like it and the story though, but i wished ubi would make the game perform better, frame rate drops, tearing etc. i am trying to get into the multiplayer, but i keep wanting to keep going thru the sp as well. over all good game to pick up.
interested in how this one ends.........

grendan- remember only 360 exclusives deserve scores less than 100% on n4g however all sony exclusives should get a 10/10 for the fact that sony and their devs do no wrong for the fanboys on here that cheer them on.
