Just because the defending is new, doesn't mean it needs to be fixed. I didn't like the new defending at first when I was practicing on the demo, but as i played more and more I learned that the defending is what makes this game so much better than any previous installments of this series. I feel that if you take the time to learn how to defend properly you'll actually be rewarded in the end.
Just my two cents.
I feel that everybody who complains about the beta have forgotten the other BF beta's. BF1942's demo/beta was just as bad, bf2 had some glitches, i heard the BC2 Beta was worse than the BF3 beta. It's a beta, it's ment to get the bug's out and test their back end servers. The fact that everybody is judging this game on how a beta is show's how ignorant people really are.

buying used games does not help the developers at all. the passes that you have to buy when buying used games is the only way the developers can recoup some money for essentially letting the buyer use their servers and online modes for free.
I know im going to get bf3 on my pc and xbox. I have friends who either have one or the other. ill buy mw3 off of craigslist so activision doesn't get my money and ill save 35 dollars for the same game I played last year and the year before that.
I think it may be niche because of how the story plays such a big role

im hyped for bf3 cod has gotten boring after mw. I use to play cod 1 and 2 on the pc. now when I load up I just get bored yet I still go back to bf2 all the time.
This is one of his better reviews. It hit the nail on the head for this game, even though those questions about relationships are pretty tricky. =\
movies and games are entertainment so comparing the two is actually a legit comparison. movies have become shoddy id rather torrent them before wasting money to go see it. if its good ill give the production company my money
They put out two new maps for the pc, then rehashed and updated other maps. BTW it took them over 2 years to get all those maps out, while amateur map makers continue to create maps for the game. When a developer takes the time to professionally make maps why shouldn't they get paid.
I don't blindly buy random DLC. I have only bought the DLC's for BO because i love zombies that much. I know that i can easily get 60 dollars worth of entertainment from those maps and that is...
I actually don't mind spending the money on the maps. I know the days of old where maps were free on the computer are long gone. I understand that consoles are closed platforms and thus we can never have the same experiences that were allowed back then. I have bought every map pack thus far and honestly have not been disappointed.
