Community made content is a big part of PC gaming. Mods will keep a game up and running long after the console versions are dead and forgotten.

Yes I know they merged medic into Assault, its multiple classes... but Assault is still ASSAULT too. Assault's job is to get in there and mess some sh** up. Launching grenades is not only a way to do that, but also provide pressure/aggression against people you can't actually see.
