I dont think this would work. One XBL already has a fee to play online. I dont think there are to many games that plays would even bother to play online you add another fee to it. Maybe Halo, CoD and gears could get away with it. I think most players would drop ther gold memberships. The sales of DCL would fall drastically. In 3 year would anyone really care ? That sound just about right for when the next gen of systems should be hitting.
Plus the rate didnt stay the same the 360 has started out selling it again and the ps3 is once again fallin behind.

Alan Wake is one of the few games that I think should be in the running for GoTY. So it seem odd to call the game a flop. But then again more then likely halo or cod will get goty
If EA would of let Bioware make the game exclusive to the 360 it at least be as good as Mass Effect. EA is already draggin bioware down. Biowares best days are behind them I'm afriad.
Why would they consider it a failure even if ps3 is still in the hole at the end of this gen it wont be a failure for sony. Thanks to the ps3 Blu ray won the HD war. This alone was worth it for sony. Plus the ps3 is finally turning a profit. So I cant see how anyone would think Sony thinks of the ps3 as a failure
I see this stuff as really test market for the next gen systems. Kinect is an interesteing idea but other then controller the inteface I really have no interest in it.
Sony 3D may some day be the stanard for gaming but at this point its basically in a per alpha state. How I thing this is at least 2 gens off they need to be able to make tv that dont need those stupid glasses at a price people are willing to pay.

the rumored price of Kinect is 130 dollars. A full move set up is 180 dollars. Kinect supports 2 players for move you need a second setup. So explain how 360 dollars is better then 130 ?
Sega seems to do just about everything thing 1st. HD gaming is just another in long line of 1st for them. They made the 1st widescreen game (V. Racing). 1st to do 3D gaming V. Raing in the arcade and for gensis, Saturn was the 1st home sysem to do 3D gaming. They even made an arcade way back in 1991 that was 3D with a game called Time travler. They called it a holgram game but it was still in 3D and you didnt need any glass.
Well there is no confirmed price like blaze pointed out. However I agree with patcher that for the average joe it needs to be priced at 99 dollars. I personally dont think I'd pay more then 50 for it.
If you take the rumored price of 130 then it could depend a bit on how you look at it. 2 wii mote run about 100 dollars , for 2 full ps moves your looking at 360 dollars.

Sony wanted to do motion so bad that the tact on the sixaxis to the ps3 at the last mins when they couldnt do rumble. Then dropped the sixaxis as soon as they got the law suit worked out.

3D is nothing more the a Fad it always has been. Seems like about every 15 years or so there is a big push for 3D for a few years then it dies off and goes away. I can remember seeing some of the 3D movies in the 80's with yes those red and blue glasses.
I went to see Avatar when that came out in 3D and guess what it the same thing. Sure the glasses now look like normal sun glasses but the 3D itself is more or less the same. In 30 years it hasnt improved. Till they can...
Exclusive ? Where does it say anything about exclusive ? MS never said it be xbox exclusive. Only that the games would be. While it probably would be called kinect the tech will probably be added to all kinds of things and become a standard. The same way touch is now the standard for phones.

I dont think to many people would pay 180 for it. I think sony goin to piss off alot of people tho. Not everyone read game sites and know everything there is to know about gaming. So you going to have a lot of people go out and buy the 30 or 50 dollar part of move thinking that is all they need. When they find out they need the rest of it they are goin to be really up set.
Its probably a move bundle for 199. sony said they finally are making money on the ps3 and will not lower the price anytime soon
