I admitted the 360 looks crisper and more defined. As evident in just about every video now.
But there was a video done by gamesrader or someone who showed Niko falling from the sky and showed clearly more trees poping up on the 360 version.
the 360 just has a much cleaner and crisper look. Everything is more defined.
The PS3 has blur effect, PS3 looks wavy like there's gas in the air.
PS3 warmer colors or just less defined? who Knows.
I'm starting to lean toward the 360 version looking a bit better. However it was also proved the 360 has a lot more pop up. (Remember the falling from the sky video)
some people think that GTA IV is gonna cause an increase in XBOX 360 sales by 10 or 20 million in "1 month". As all the PS2 base is suddenly gonna jump in and buy an XBOX 360 for Grand Theft Auto IV! :)
some people use the term loosely.
It's still running on GTA III engine.
Maybe it was the soundtrack of songs I never heard before?
Or maybe the detail on the women you date in the game.
This game is neck and neck in sales with Halo 3, and this game is on 2 consoles.
Halo 3 was a 360 exclusive, and that didn't kill the PS3.
How the hell is GTA IV gonna kill the PS3?
GTA IV doesn't go far enough. It's kinda boring. And anyway, the game never has any kids.
We suppose to believe there's a city with no kids? Everyone is an adult in the world?
This is as gay as watching kids having to show ID or needing parents to see the Movie "Jackass 2"
watching 35 year old men stick things up their ass. Not my taste in exciting controvery.
that game sucks ass.
steal the GTA crowd away from Playstation.
They figured they could get GTA IV to do for XBOX 360, what GTA III did for PS2.
But I'm not sure it's working out that way man...
For starters, GTA IV can't carry GTA III's nut sack.
both those games make a killing off name recognition.
GTA III revolitionary, Vice City more GTA III but with real 80's music, that made it for me.
San Andreas was also cool.
It was cool, cause you play as a hood and your mother was just killed, and your Brother is the leader of the gang and it's all about honor.
Then you get into a low rider and start listening to Snoop Dogg and Dr Dre. Teenagers ate that up.
GTA IV, n...
Scary PS3 octopus, looks like it's gonna own. How do you beat something with that many arms?
I'm sick of hearing about it.
The game is weird, the characters body built looks a tad silly, but not all games are going for total realism
they could even be thinking about a Wii price cut. When in reality you still can't even walk into the store and buy one.
Feeling a bit, "been there done that" already only a couple of hours into the game.
Drive to the next mission, the next silly cutscene. Feeling a little "Been there, done that" only a few hours into the game.
Niko acts like a good guy with logic, but still goes around shooting people on fetch missions.
So far, it's sticking pretty much to the same old GTA formula. The realism and livelyness is up a notch but the AI of the pedestrains and the city isn't gonna confuse anyone for being real life.
I don't think it's anything revolutionary, that was GTA III.
I think in a month or so, people will be ready for new games.
Me personally, I'm ready for new games right now.
I don't imagine GTA IV online taking away the frag people away from t...
has a cheap soundtrack also, where are the hit songs? like in San Andreas?
I don't see GTA IV as a good thing.
The game is multi platform and only stands to hurt PS3. Since the PS3 costs more, what PS3 needs is exclusives.
The quicker people get over GTA IV and start looking for new games the better.
We need MGS4, Killzone 2, Little Big Planet, Resistance 2 to be the ones getting massive hype.
Grand Theft Borat needs to just go away already, it's a pile a crap rehash from last gen anyway.
The only thing that matters to me is who sells more consoles on April and May. To see if GTA IV actually boosted sales for one console over the other.
As far as GTA IV having long legs, I agree it probably will maybe even more so than Call of Duty 4. But just how long will GTA IV continue to be a factor and keep selling strongly? That's interesting to know also.
360 is the clear winner. I'm a PS3 fan, but I don't make excuses. You gotta face up.
EDIT, I take it back. Not the CLEAR winner but the Winner.
I have to admit, I have the PS3 version, and the more blurry colors do add an affect like the city is more poluted. Like I said, it looks like there's gas in the air and it gives the atmosphere an organic feeling.
But that's just opinion, the most obvious thing is the 360 verison is a lot crisper and more ...
