How two years later, this still happens. What was Sony thinking when they made the PS3 so hard to work with?
Oh yeah... they were thinking that they were gonna blow away the competition because all the PS2 owners were gonna rush out and buy a PS3 like brainless zombies, regardless of price and game library.
But it's not like I would ever consider getting any other version other than the PS3 version. It's the lead version and it's supposely comming out first in Japan.
Whatever they are selling with the Wii, great, good that they are selling and making money. What does this have to do with gaming?
I don't think anything. The PS3 and 360 battle on.
The only thing holding 360 in pal regions is the price difference. I would agree PS3 is outperforming. But not outselling. 360 is probably outselling it because of Sony's damn crazy price.
Know that I don't defend Sony or anything. I take it to them and say it how it is. And I get labeled as Anti PS3 sometimes for saying the truth.
But PS3 wins this battle. GTA IV DLC has a chance to do well amongst XBOX 360 owners who also own GTA IV and have an XBOX live subscription.
But if you're talking about who has the better console pusher in February. Well, I think that's a little bit funny. XBOX 360 fans are the ones who need the reality check this time.
...
Do they expect some downloadable content of a year old game to compete with the most advanced shooter of this generation?
We're talking about downloadable content people, that's like saying that a PSN title is gonna move consoles.
I think the PS3 is in trouble sales wise because of price, but that has nothing to do with Afrika.
Somehow I always felt this game reminded me of a national geographic game anyway. So, this seems so appropriate. I'm buying.
But if you were thinking revolutionary console pushing sales. Obviously it's been disappointing. What's worse is that Sales of Motorstorm 2 and Resistance 2 don't seem all that hot. Those were 2 of the best selling PS3 franchises so far and I expected them to keep PS3 hot during the holiday. You can say whatever, but some of these sales numbers have to be concerning to Sony.
Sony is in for a huge reality check because I just don't think the PS3 can compete this holiday with the...
But I think XBOX 360 already won. Sony's decision this holiday speaks volumes to me.
They decided to give this one up. Next year will be too late. Why would Sony decide to take a beating this holiday when consoles sell like crazy and fall behind that much further if they are planning to cut price early next year? That doesn't make sense to me. I think Sony already showed that they just can't afford to lose money anymore on the PS3. I think it's over, Sony made their decision.
...
Sony is in a lot of trouble. I seriously thinking the PS3 has given it up. They might even stop production.
PS3 shot themselves in the foot, right when they decided to make people pay for both a Blu ray player and a game console, when all people wanted was a game console and XBOX 360 provided that.
The install base and attach rates of XBOX 360 just have the PS3 in a strangle hold. Now it's only gonna get worse this holiday as 360 will easily double up on the PS3 with prices the way they are.
So, I really believe Sony has realized that it's over. They aren't gonna lose ...
Sony is just being cheap. There's no other way to put it. They aren't spending the money on pricing it competitively. They aren't spending the money or marketing. They aren't showing the money to third parties.
Microsoft is, and it's winning them the console war.
Spike would get bombed by their viewers if they named LBP game of the year.
But believe me, the best game this year is Little Big Planet. There's nothing else like it.
Metal Gear Solid 4, Gears of War 2, seen it all before.
Is throwing in the towel.
sorry, nothing to say
Where I live, I still don't have a means of renting blu ray consistanly, I have to travel 12 miles into town, or rent online.
my local blockbuster 2 miles away doesn't carry blu ray it's a sh*tty franchise store.
There is a redbox outside the Mcdonalds, if they start getting blu ray there, that will be cool. I can actually now rent when ever I want, not having to drive far.
the hell with that. I'll tell you the secret to girls, they want attention, so much attention. Even if you're ugly, they still want your attention because it still means they're hot. And most girls want to be hot.
The biggest insult to a girl is to not give them any attention at all. If they're nude, just act like nothing to see here.
The only problem is, that not all guys will be on the same terms. So if you don't pay attention, some other guy will. So it just s...
