This game has a lot of potenial.
We probably still haven't even seen the real game. I've read on sites saying that the Origami Killer is just a special scenerio created for demonstration. It's not part of the actual storyline.
They don't want to take any chances of giving away information on the real plot.
My favorite part is "there's no game overs" in Heavy Rain. That pretty interesting.
the current retail price of games is $59.99 not $39.99
this is all bullcrap.
Everyone knows these articles are BS. Fanboys attaking fanboys.
I'm a fanboy and so are you. LightningPS3 = PS3 fanboy, name = PS3 fanboy.
N4G is loaded with PS3 fanboys. It's just the truth.
"Wait till next year, it has potential, they can fix it."
This is kinda turning out to be true.
keep this site up, unless you're a fanboy you don't spend hours a day on gaming news.
That's just the reality. It's not normal people here, it's people that have love for their console brand.
Fanboys love their console and they love games. And they want their console to have the best games.
Or was it a different one.
I hope you can make her die in the game.
Square Enix has nothing to do with this game, or else it would be XBOX 360 exclsuvie.
Because they said this was just a special scene created to show people. It's called the Origami Killer and David Cage said it's not part of the actual story.
So again, I wonder if any of these characters are in the real game or what. That hasn't even been confirmed.
People keep talking about how this is mouse click like gameplay. That it's more of an interactive movie.
Games became more like interactive movies along time ago. Like Survival Horror games like Resident Evil and Silent Hill. Which were not that much more in gameplay than unlocking doors and solving puzzles to progress the story.
The payoff for Survival horror games was not great gameplay, it was the experiece of being scared. Survival horror games made you feel ...
So, it better have one hell of a good story.
What we saw, still isn't part of the real game. It's just The Origami Killer Demo.
Just a playable demonstation of the games engine, but not part of the games story.
So no, that girl might not even be the main character.
No game overs!! Even if a character dies, it stays as part of the story. WOW...
This game could be like awesome.
I think PS3 is the console to own, better than XBOX 360.
So what we saw is still not part of the actual game?? It's just the Origami Killer Demo??
That's what they just said, this won't actually happen in the game. It's just a gameplay demonstration.
WTF? So really, that just changes how I feel about everything we saw today.
Too me it just looked like a kind of cliche phycological horror or thriller. Creepy house, find dead bodies, then suddenly being chased after with a knife.
The concept looks decent not amazing, graphics look amazing, very real.
It's a mixed bag, verdict is still out.
if it does have a lot of QTE parts, with someone jumping over things and beating impossible odds, then that would be disappointing. But we don't know that yet.
Anyway, the main character is a girl? It looks okay, but David Cage has no imagination, soon the game will be filled with Hollywood movie Cliches about cults and who knows what.
Already, there's a women being chased by a killer with a knife. I mean come on.
I'm semi disappointed.
It could be good, I mean it looked pretty realistic from graphics and the premise looked kinda creepy, if the game is slow and not action filled.
But from ...
They should of shown this long ago, and they would of caught the attention of people looking foward to Indigo Prochecy 2.
The Casting Demo, got people expecting something really different.
The graphics of course looked pretty damn real.
Still, doesn't mean it will be a great game or not. I guess will depend on the story.
Don't really like how you have to press buttons fast, to pass some parts, that's directly from Indigo Prophecy, a few other games have had that also, like Resident Evil 4.
Unless you're blind, Killzone 2 looks awesome and personally my most wanted shooter.
