It's no secret MS is trying to be on top of the shooter world. With making slight digs and references to BF. In fact it probably explains why they dont have BF on gamepass day one. They want Halo to have the spotlight. Obviously since it's their game.
If you were to suggest Returnal to your friend who just got a PS5 and is new to gaming you're gonna turn him/her off very quickly, not only will they not play it anymore, but will think is this how all games are? Again say they are brand new to gaming.
It's a niche game that isn't accessible friendly. Genre wise just isn't everyone's cup of tea.
I don't know why the downvotes. That's actually not counting digital or gamepass at all.
Some are just angry I suppose.
This game doesn't do anything new and some how does it worse. It's clear the Modern Warfare 2 is what everyone is waiting for.
The goal for MS has been apparent basically since 2016 when their games started hitting PC. To grow the xbox audience and keep their eyes glued on the game's and have high attach rate. Console, PC, Xcloud across countless devices MS was able to grow that player count exponentially. This right here, Horizon 5 is proof that Bethesda games will be ok on MS ecosystems, they're able to reach millions of ppl almost instantly.
It's weird, so I don't mean this in a bad way, but in my head I was kinda thinkin this game would do maybe a million or 2 players. I always understand estimate how well Xbox games games perform in general because they had a rough 8th gen with X1 so I question how many actually care. Glad I down played it. Now this game is a very popular something I shouldn't really be all that surprised about. Here's hoping Infinite shares the same success.
Lol.
Fun fact the game is exactly a year away from now.
Jim Ryan said he was upset his games are only able to hit 10 to 15 million ppl. Out of 116 million ppl do you expect their games to sell a 100 million copies? That should be shameful according to your logic. Right because it's exclusive, every single person should buy it because it's attached to a name like MS, Sony or Nintendo? As if every person that bought a console should pick up whatever exusive these companies throw at us. The mass majority should buy their exclusives, is that r...
Certainly wasn't expecting that.
What are DF are nervous about? They are nervous about Upgrade/ RPG elements, resource management, open world mission structure. I don't understand the obsession of keeping this IP the same thing that we've played in the past 20 years Halo 1 and 2, we've been there done that we need something new for Halo. I would pass on if they gave us the same thing again, that would be my biggest issue.
"or put their exclusives on the service day one. "
You know good and well Sony isn't gonna do that. They believe in traditional AAA releases. The only thing I can see Sony doing is edging the PC version closer and closer to the PS5 version.
Rift apart has a 88 metacritic. Not bad for a game being "review bombed." there were complaints about being samey I remember reading them personally. But being review bombed as you claim is pretty dramatic.
For starters I slightly disagree with the notion you should just buy a game to support a company or studio. You should by a game for soul purpose to enjoy it, if it's your type of game, have fun with it. Not to feel obligated to buy a game because the studio needs the money or for pointless and goofy console war propaganda to prove a point (not saying that's what he's doing.)
But what you're saying is, PG doesn't need support because they're under ...
That's interesting, what other 10's have they given out this year?
Yeah we saw it coming.
They are joining forces, you should try reading.
Yeah, it'll be AAA game development using MS technology such as azure cloud. Apparently there want to use the tech to reach a large audience.
Nintendo will always be Nintendo. They're not in the same console space as tye other two.
Claiming what MS is doing is not affecting Sony in anyway is very blind. Sony wouldn't have bought out Nixes or housemarque, Haven Studios as 2nd party with Jade Raymond leading the team. Having 25 games in development. Plus more acquisitions in the near future. Stacking up on games content. Sony didn't do that because they woke up one day because they felt like. It's beca...
