Redfall and Forza 8.
It's a concern but it's not absolute death for Xbox as many here are making it out to be. If Xbox survived 2020 launch and most of last years with no game release, they'll be fine, trust me.
Talk about leaving out almost all of Xbox games out your list. Paying 50$ for a collection of games that you already is win for you I guess.Have fun with that. Seems to me allot of you love double dipping and over spending.
@Moriarty Don't you start that.
God Of War Ragnarok, 4 in a half years in development
Horizon Forbidden West, 5 years in development.
TLOUSP2, 7 years in development.
Ghost Of Tsushima 6 years in development.
If you don't have perspective then there's no helping you. This year will Mark 4 years since they acquired those studios. Expect this year's E3 from MS to be gameplay heav...
These article always pop up around this time a year. This article is just to entertain fanboys the first half of the year until their big games release 3rd and 4th quarter of the year the games release. Xbox sells allot, gamepass sells allot then the fanboys try their hardest to downplay its like clock work. I've already said how I don't like when MS releases their games late in the year. Because they need that momentum from start to finish of the year. It seems like ppl have this me...
If I was to go by your track record on your comments regarding Xbox this E3 could be good, but you'll try your hardest to downplay it or go into hiding because you can't find anything complain about. Again going off your comment history regarding Xbox.
"MS doesn’t know how to or refuses to make a AAA game that’s any good."
Refuse? Why would they purposely make bad games?
Well Forza and Halo have been in development longer than their acquisitions.
"not surprised to see Phil come out with a spin after that news."
What exactly is he spinning? Halo has 20 million player and Forza has 18 million making it the biggest player count either franchise has ever seen in their history. That's nearly 40 million ppl playing MS first party across those 2. Numbers don't lie. MS has removed certain barriers to its first party games, making their games very accessible.
By the time Starfield relea...
The game has high scores all across the board what Do you mean?
@Army its extremely clear you don't know how GP works, that or you're being ignorant on purpose. Halo Infinite, Forza all of First party AAA, and major 3rd party can be purchased like any other game out there. Download or store bought can be purchased physically. Again like everything else out there.
You don't have to pay for gamepass to play MS first party games. Now stop making things up.
"That is Microsoft in a nutshell, buy up the competition instead of building and fostering talented studios.*
Don't even start with that. sony bought up all those studios last year and none of then were fostered except for Housemarque. Who cares how it's done as long as MS has studios to make games. It's just not picky at this point.
"Now they buy publishers of games and locking games behind their walled garden."
It shows what the problems within MS are. MS always compete internally with themselves they always want to push for different things. This is the main problem that MS has always had it didn't start to show until late 360 days and all of the Xbox one days. The Xbox brand has always been so damn inconsistent depending on who's wants what with the console.
It's not Gamepass that I'm thankful for (though it's a fine service) it's that Phil tenacity in f...
Ummm... what? This is about Bungie, not their statement on "10 live service games".
You mentioned live service in your comment hence the comment.
I agree as long as it doesn't become a huge focus and Sony continues to deliver their bread and butter which AAA narrative story based games.
That's definitely good to hear. In order for that to happen they need a few years in the pipe line to innovate. Haven't touched COD since 2014 maybe in a few years the games will be great again and I'm back on board.
You're just gonna sweep it under the rug about Sony churning out a bunch of Live Service stuff? Man if this was any other company it would be pitchforks at the gates. A few Live service games is fine and dandy but releasing 10 in 4 years is going overboard and it doesn't guarantee quality of those games. I can only see 2 or 3 being pretty good.
Seems like Sony gets a free pass on everything they said they're not gonna be doing.
"Hopefully it's not only playstation trolls. Anyone with common sense know that first, Phil used double talk, to convince people that exclusives are bad, and get the parrots on his side."
Send a link where he said exclusives are bad?
You say common sense then you use verbiage like you're in middle school or something. He "sicked" and "attacked" like what? Anyway.
"Then, they came out with a game r...
And New fans joined Xbox right after there E3 last year. Oh and more fans joined last holiday. Spoiler alert, more fans will join after this year's E3 and more will join this holiday with starfield.
You can keep talking about the past with Crackdown 3 and such since it brings you comfort of one of MS failings. Because you don't want to see what's coming ahead for Xbox this year, trust me.
You mean 2018 not 2014 when he made those acquisitions.
Hardly, it wasn't his call in the direction where they went. They wanted Kinect casual games and he put them out.
IDC if it's on GP. A crap game is a crap game no matter how you slice it.
