Sadly, looks like IOS is the most popular device for games in Japan, developers like Hironobu Sakagushi and publishers like Square-Enix are releasing their games for this platform. It's been a while that the consoles are not doing so well in Japan, and that's sucks.

Funny fact: the best games from Ubisoft recently are not considered with "AAA" visuals, i mean, with high poduction. These games are Rayman Legends, Child of Light and Valiant Hearts, better than Watch Dogs, Far Cry 3 and Assassin's Creed.
Bayonetta is not just a "pervy" game, the gameplay is great and innovative, a lot of combos and powers, amazing bosses fights, and goes on.
Lego games are cool, City Undercover is my favorite.
