@RpgSama I think the point he was trying to make was that people still play SNES and N64 games to this day and have fun with them. I owned a PS1 and I loved a lot of games in your list, but... when playing them again I don't really have fun (I might be the minority). I can't sit through any Crash Bandicoot game from beginning to end, and the only FF games I can replay multiple times are on the SNES. Yes, those games on the Playstation might be classics, but it is very rare I see peopl...

*Buys system first month knowing the library only has one good game... proceeds to complain that the system only has one good game*

I'm a Nintendo fanboy (have no problem admitting it), but I think it is foolish to get a new system so early, then complain the library is limited. Why not just save your money and wait for the fall or next year when the library starts to expand? Pretty much every new system has this problem, especially if they are using new hardware that o...

The dislike to like ratio for some of these comments confuses me. I don't understand the general consensus here. Most people are saying they aren't happy with the current line-up of games, and they get super downvoted, and others say they are happy and they get downvoted. If I was a Sony exec that had to decide what games to put up for free, I would be confused as hell reading these results. XD

I think Nintendo was saving Pokemon as their Trump card because it was their main income for their handheld systems. There are a lot of rumors that Nintendo will hold off on another Gameboy and use the Switch for this generation of mobile/handheld gaming. If the rumors are true, they will make a special Pokemon Switch (probably near the end of the life cycle for the switch though), to bring in sales before launching their next system.

The moment Pokemon goes mainstream for ...

I did, it looks cool but my low end laptop can't handle it so well. It seems really cool from the videos I have seen and the little I have played. It has come a long way since it started. :D

I updated the article and added a note at the end. I talked with the creators and they said that they don't have the time or resources right now for a console version, but they are considering it.

For now it is PC and Mac only. Cheers! :)

I don't think it will just because it is an Indie game. If it does get one it will most likely be picked up by the WiiU or PS4 just because they seem to be a bit more open and free towards Indie games.

But from what I learned from this project, it was made for PC, so there is a high chance it will stay on PC. I have talked to the creators a few times, I'll ask them their thoughts about a console release. :)

MABINOGI ONLINE! (Before the updates that dumbed it down)

Yes they are massive multiplayer online games. War thunder is in a massive world and play area is it not? And can you play online multiplayer with other people over the internet? Yes. You can also make guilds and level up so those are MMO elements.

In fact, one of the options that they are currently working on is the "World war" mode, and if it is what it sounds like you would be playing in one giant area against other players at the same time. I would say they are ...

Warframe is an MMO because you can connect and play online with hundreds of other players without leaving your house. They are constantly adding new updates and areas where more players can join and interact, like guild Dojos and stuff. They consider Gunz the Dual and S4 League as MMO games, so in my opinion Warframe is just as much an MMO as the other two...

Wait, Borderlands 2 still doesn't let you customize guns? I haven't played it yet and I honestly haven't looked the game up much. The game was all about the bazillion guns and if I still can't mod them that's a bit disappointing. There is a rumor that they will be making a "Border worlds", but I don't know if there is any truth to that.

I remember with the first Borderlands before it came out we had a gaming magazine that was sent to us month...

I still play regularly. Arkfalls are pretty fun with the new Darkmatter arkfalls, and I love the co-op missions (I believe they also added a few new ones). Hunting for the free clothing options is fun too instead of just paying for them in the cash shop, it makes the missions a bit more intense trying to complete all of the requirements before the end of the mission to gain the special outfit as a prize.

And now that they've opened up the mods and put them in stores so ...
