I was a big Xbox fan but the always-online and subscription focus pushed me away on top of the games situation
I think you're right. Big budget 100 million dollar AAA games from multiple studios on a $2-15 service is a loss leader so without a big number of subscribers they'll need to balance the numbers somehow
You're going to have to get used to it because a lot more games will be 30FPS next generation
I've never had a problem with it
I've never been a big fan of subscription gaming so this will only push me further to PlayStation
These are crazy predictions from analysts but Sony sure are confident they will sell a ton of PS5's and with their lineup of amazing titles before launch, I can see why
Agreed. A lot of people don't understand how much more you can do graphically with double the amount of time to render a frame at 30FPS
And with Demon Souls looking that good at 60FPS I get excited to see what a 30FPS game from a Sony studio would look like on PS5
Assassin's Creed Valhalla runs the same too and yeah most multiplatform games will look the same next generation
I'm still disappointed Godfall is always-online I was going to buy that one but there's not a chance now
I will still buy it then. Offline modes FTW!!!
The game looks better than I thought it would
I might be in the minority but I would still like to see some 30 FPS titles next generation to see how far graphics can be pushed
I struggle to see how Xbox wasn't prepared for this upcoming generation after hardly releasing anything on the XB1 in a few years
I played those at launch and I agree. This launch lineup looks like one of the worst
Seems like a case of over promising and undelivering
Yep, they tried to make it look like the best launch lineup ever but when you remove the old games it looks very bad
And people think there's going to be big difference in multiplatform games between the PS5 and XSX Lol
I hope you're right but I dont see the soundtrack releasing on PS4 if the game isn't coming too. It doesn't make sense though to not announce it with the others so we'll see
Sounds like this might confirm it then. Sony what are you doing? I have very few complaints but the messaging lately is a big one and the slow ramp up of marketing is another
Yes it looks fantastic I can't wait to play this
I came here to say this. It's sad that a next generation console is relying so heavily on the previous generation
Sony aren't shoving those services in my face at every turn and I'm still not convinced that the size or design of the games wont change
