Look at Ryse at 900p perceived as the best looking game by many people even some PC enthusiast
And obviously you don't know what you're talking about because a 900p title can look better than a native 1080p title when it has better shaders, lighting, shadows, draw distances, reflections, etc
Put 100 people in a room and ask them to determine 720p from 900p by seeing a 5-10 clip of Call of Duty or Battlefield and see if you get predominantly right answers
The difference is minimal at best
Resolutions are overrated especially when it's 720p to 900p or 900p to 1080p
You wouldn't know which is which unless it was pointed out or highlighted in comparison screenshots
The fidelity of each individual pixel is more important
