I agree wholeheartedly! Both Arkham Asylum games were just wonderful and such a joy to play! I usually don't bother with movie adaptation games, one game that I remember was The Amazing Spiderman on the original Xbox. It was very good and I have some great childhood memories playing it. Other than that I can't really think of a good game adaptation from a movie.
While I personally don't own a PS3, Twisted Metal and Motorstorm: Apocalypse both look like games that I would buy. I remember seeing Twisted Metal have it's debut trailer at one gaming conference, there was so much hype for it and the crowd really seemed to want the game. It's sad that things like that, where people put so much effort into making them, go overlooked in the market and forgotten.
Played Prototype one and two, both games suffered from the same cause. Quick to finish and then there is nothing else to do. I picked up Prototype 2 and two weeks later had completed the game on the hardest difficulty and 100% my save game, along with all of the achievements. The games had great ideas and were fun to play, but needed something to keep them going. Possibly a co-op or multiplayer mode could have helped in the long run.
Agreed. The canon games seem so much better than their spinoff counterparts!

I really dislike these motion control only games. They should have an option to use a controller, but then again, that would defeat the purpose of the game...

I personally enjoy the tradition of going to the store and buying a game. Especially midnight releases, those are really fun!
