I just have very high standards when it comes to fighting games. I consider SSF4, Virtua Fighter 4 & Soul Calibur 2 to be the best of the best. A pretender like MK is very easy to pick out its flaws.
I have never bought third party stuff, always official. Third party stuff is cheaper but it never works as good as official.
A nice honest review for this incredibly overrated game. It is fun but its the same old fighting game it's always been. A 5 means it's average, that's what this game is, average.
I would bet on it being PS3 only but who knows, I hope it's multi-format.
I have just checked how much time I've spent in it. 429 hours!! Defeated all dark aeons, got all celestial weapons. Not easy!

The 3ds wasn't ready for a March release. Nintendo were put under pressure to release it before the end of the last financial year (March 31st) to please stockholders. they would have been better off releasing in the autumn when they would have had better games ready

I'm always suprised by the continued popularity of the Saturn & the Dreamcast. I have never owned either. PS1 was my first console, then PS2, then Gamecube, then Xbox 1. The PS2 was the only one I felt I couldn't part with!
