Yes, the Last of Us is great, but it was great on PS3 and most of us haven't long finished it. I didn't buy my PS4 to play games I was playing last year.
Agree. The PS4 is a well built machine, but the message is still the difference. PS4, as you say, has been consistent while the Xbox One (until recently), has been all over the shop
It nearly got me and I'm dead inside.
Nfl2k is a great shout.
Some of it was shit. The fined metal combat was still decent though.
Yeah, I don't get it..... It's clearly a review.
1080 does make a difference, but art design is still king. Also, the facial animations in Ryae were in a different league. Actually thought they were quite weak in Killzone
The lighting is great, but it's not as pretty as Ryse. I still thinks that's the best looking console game to date.......sure the Order will too it though.
I bought it just for this.......it's certainly decent, but its no big leap from Killzone 3.
The Wii U is great, but it's great in that second console kind of way.
Yeah, there is something about the console that I find quite charming and despite the third party support, the first party is great......it's also the only console that my wife will play.
Oh, Phantasy Star would be great.
Plenty more, but you've got to start somewhere.
Yeah, it was a weird game......but in a good way.
I have nothing against the PS4 - as a console, it looks like the better deals, but at the moment, for all of Sony's talk about games first, Xbox One is out in front. Yes, it has loads of indie games, but that's not what I buy a new £300 + console for. They're great to have, but you've got to have the triple A in place too. At the moment, they feel like they are papering over the cracks.
I know, right. It went completely under the radar. Not only is a it a good game, but it's one of the best looking Wii games out there and possible the prettiest third party offering on the console.
Yes, they are something, but, at the moment, the Xbox One is doing a little more with the console......even if the console doesn't seem to be able to do as much. The PS4 is more powerful, it does 1080p - I want to see the games that use that power. There will be plenty of games in a year, but at this point, there should be more on the horizon.
Yeah, I agree, not only are they good/bad depending on how you approach them (as per teh article), but are also invariably good/bad based upon the quality of the achievement itself (as you stated).
I agree that Killzone looks great, but I still don't think it represents the step-up that Ryse did.
I agree the PS4 is great on paper, but where are the games?
