I hope this game is at least nominated for best score as the soundtrack for this game is just fantastic.
RDR does take a lot from the GTA mould but it is I can asure you a completely different game aside from the engine and other things like the lock on and such.

One engine on the 360 might not work as well on the PS3 EVEN AFTER OPTIMISING IT! One could ask Rockstar to create a whole new engine more suited for the PS3 Hardware but that would be ridiculous considering the costs, extra time and minimal difference for maximal effort so you're not wrong in saying Rockstar have a talented team who probably tried their hardest however you are drawing conclusion out of your own wishful thinking ;)
OK lets be honest here RDR looks worse on the PS3 and if one were to play both it'd be obvious what they'd stick with however you seem to use this as some sort of "proof" that the PS3 never was more powerful than the 360 ignoring games such as God of War 3, Killzone 2 and especially Uncharted 2 which have done each indivdual graphical task better and combined with solid framerates.

This looks to be the best game this year so far and looking back this year hasn't been a slouch; Heavy Rain, Mass Effect 2, Bioshock 2, God of War 3, Yakuza 3, Alan Wake, Splinter Cell, ModNationRacer, Just Cause 2, Battlefield BC2 etc.
It must be great to travel into th4e furture and play all the games about to release...

On topic - This article is quite stupid as it is way too early as we have yet to experience half of this years goodies and he mentions Splinter Cell, MLB10: The Show & Heavy Rain (which I doubt will win despite being good) but leaves out Alan Wake...Secondly we migh get a couple of surprises that haven't even been announced yet so it's just such a pointless article... Very special game indeed and soo far definetly in the top 3 this year and there have been a lot of fantastic (scratch that), EPIC!!! games this year.
I am playing the game right now, where in the world are you? And why are they such a-holes? It's brilliant, atmospheric (and scary, especially on a 46 inch LED Bravia surround sound and no lights with the volume quite loud), gameplay is very nice and the story very engaging. I definetly recomend this game.
I still don't know how to mark people in dead eye mode (embarassing I know) but I feel they should have done a better tutorial for many of the things but thats as far as my complaints go for this game and I know MP has some bugs but I have yet to buy a wifi adapted for my 360 (I will soon though), almost eager to buy two copies one for the PS3 to play MP and play SP on my 360...what do you guys think? I have 3 months of Live from buying a hard drive but I sorta wanna wait till Reach comes...
