No the 4k on x slim upscaler is blurrier and it can't do hdr at 1080p like the base PS4. . The slim Xbox forces upscale to do hdr. U can't enable it at 1080p. So you're getting a blurry HDR picture upscale on the Xbox Slim with no checkerboard or temporal injection. . The Xbox x I'm sure will be better at upscaling, checkerboard rendering and temporal injection than pro. But right now the pro takes the cake
Absolutely. 4k upscale is amazing especially with hdr. No more digital noise, deeper and richer colors, better performance. If u have a 4k tv it's worth it. Can't go back to 1080p. 4k on Xbox slim not as good as pro, but still an improvement.

You can get used to it. It's off but you can adapt. I turn on game mode and it helps big time for more precision.

Not a fan of just cause but until Dawn was fantastic. I do not think just cause is anywhere near the quality of until dawn. That's a first party quality title.
