I have yet to play Rise of the Ronin, but other that that, yeah, the PS5 is killing in this first quarter of 2024, I still can't get enough of Helldivers 2 and FFVII is probably a very strong contender to be GotY

Not sure about that. It's been two decades and I still think about Power Stone, Shenmue, Crazy Taxi, Jet Set Radio, Seaman and others, but I'm not sure I'll remember Xbox Series X/S games in a few years from now... Maybe I'll remember about the franchises that the Xbox brand spawned, but I don't believe that the Xbox Series lives up to the late Dreamcast or even to the Xbox name itself. I actually really like the Laser Cannon, it's one of my favorites, but I tend to prefer the expandable anti tank because most players don't bring weapons that can one hit kill Chargers, so I play that role, but don't sleep on the Laser Cannon, it's really good
To be fair, from my experience, the majority of players in Helldivers understand the satire and criticism of fascism in this game, pretty much like it is with Starship Troopers, and most just roleplay being aware of the circunstances and even in that post on Reddit most of the players show that they do understand the intentions of the lore. So, yeah, there are some that are beggining to question who's good and who's bad, but most players already knew the answers and paralels to histor...
