+1.. this is sad but the Battlefield franchise died with Bad Company 2
Unfortunately I believe if they even release BC3, it will lean towards the same crap the last Battlefields have become.
I might be the only one here who doesn't care fot XL breasts. I think small ones are way better looking, but that's only my opinion.
I have played all the BFs also on PC and I can't remember a single one in which I could just get my vehicle back to base to regenerate, besides the last one. And I'm pretty sure this isn't a console only feature. And the classes are now messed up. And there is that breath holding system when sniping. It would be a good idea if it was done just to add realism, but it saddens me they just did it because of COD.
In Bad Company 2 you could destroy a tank with 2 or 3 RPG shots. Now it takes about one freaking million shots to take one tank down. In Battlefield 1942 and Battlefield 2 you would lose the ammo in yout magazine when reloading, it wouldn't return to the ammo pool. That's hardcore. What we have now isn't.
Maybe BF4 doesnt seem casual compared to COD but it's damn casual compared to previous releases like Bad Company and Battlefield 2
I love Battlefield but I have to agree. The last releases are losing that BF feeling, and they keep adding nonsense features to make it feels like COD
They added a lot of bad stuff to BF3 to lure COD players. BF3 is not that bad but it's far from being as good as BC2.
Bad Company 2 is way better than Battlefield 3.. not sure about Battlefield 4 though.
Of course this favours PS4 even more, everybody knows while Xone will use part of its hardware for the OS, PS4 is gonna use 100% of its for the games, the OS is probrably gonna work under alien technology.
So I assume games like God of War are terrible to play on Playstation, since the thumbs don't align symmetrically.
Whoever created this list clearly has never played Halo 4.

This. With XBLA and XBLIG, Microsoft has actually supported indie devs much more than Sony has ever done.
They have made even the controller design to look like COD. Maybe the full game is going to be enjoyable but there isn't a single destroyable building in the beta whereas in BC2 there were tons of them in every single map. And if you count that skyscraper BS a destroyable building, where you can put it down hitting two pillars you clearly have not played Bad Company. BTW they have also killed the rush mode that was so great back in the day.
