@XSilver,..
Yep,.. It is strange, especially because it is Source engine,.. And it really is not a looker.
You can also see screen-tearing http://i7.minus.com/i8sAbmM... in the screen you posted(1|3 from the top),... So it is not even Vertical synced 60fps,..
Really strange indeed,..
I am sure they are,.. So are all the other stakeholders (mostly consumers in here, I presume)
There is no way in hell they sell or even ship 3 million in a month,.. The gap will probably be 2.5-3 million by then,(with Japan launch+3weeks)
They are teh masters

Well Xbox One did outsell PS3 by 10K this week ,.. It is something...
:)
PlayStation 4 it is going to dominate this gen so hard, it is not even funny.
Here,.. Problem solved.

I think anyone with half a decent laptop can run any source game at ultra with AA and aniso, with hdr and everything..at 60-120fps. Hell even 1.0 was optimized as hell 10 years ago.
Yes because Rayman Legends is really pushing that Gpu hard,.. It would probably work 1920*1200 at 60 on a 20 year old PC. It is a beautiful game ,.. but it is a 2d sprite platformer.
So that is like 3.88:1 ,..
Sony is just going to take this gen, by quite a margin. I would say 4-6 M a year. Less, if MS drops the price significantly.
I can tell you one thing,.. You will need one hell of machine to run all the games this gen at 1080p @60 on very high/ultra, with some AA and aniso.. Overhead is large, games aren't optimized, bottlenecks everywhere,.. A decent enough GPU that could handle it, will cost you about as much as a console,.. and that has to be paired with equally a great CPU and ram,.. And even then there are things to consider,.. I am sure you know that.
I am mostly a PC gamer,.. Also thinkin...
