I elected to get these games on PC now. I rather play them on my surface pro 4 on the go or my PC if I feel like it
I honestly stopped caring for Digital Foundry before this gen started and even when they were doing comparisons early in this gen. I remember the media making 1080 60 seem like it was required but then digital foundry rarely did pieces and their philosophy since has been play where your comfortable.

I would be okay with Uncharted going dormant a while. I enjoyed a Thiefs end but I wasn't fully happy with it as I felt it dragged on longer then necessary at points. I really enjoyed Lost Legacy and felt it was able to make a point much faster then thief's end did(although I know Thief's end was to be closure for drake) I just felt LL was able to capture more of the action/set pieces then TE and it felt more meaningful to me(personal opinion feel free to fell differently.)
Also, ninja theory is a first party company and if they collarborated with Capcom like how Marvel collaborated with Sony on Spider-Man I still would buy it.
Games can be enjoyed by whatever target audience the company goes for. Not every game can survive on 3-4 platforms and saying it should be out there as if people won’t be able to play it because it’s on one is silly.

So you what happens when the price drops for the console in the 2 year contract? Does the persons payments drop as well? It would be total bullshit to start this service only for 3 months later you drop the Retail price by 100 and a person is stuck in a static placement.

I find it odd that RDR 2 is getting nominated in people’s minds already for GoTY and it hasn’t even dropped yet. If people are already prefixed on a game being GoTY before it drops you aren’t changing their minds once it’s in their hands they already decided.
Yeaahhhh that’s not me, and most Open worlds have zero happening in between you traveling. If I wanted to see nothing in an open world I’d go outside. I much rather have a scensory overload in an open world then vast areas of nothing.
Map size is probably my top reason on why I’m not fond of open games. Horizon Zero dawn is a beautiful game. But the moment I zoomed out the map... saw how big it was... I haven’t returned.

I use the Microsoft usb dongle for my controller and use the dock. I should try it without the dock and see if performance changes. Thanks for bringing that up
