I honestly didn’t understand the hate if it wasn’t it’s dead because of lack of games which has always been a lie. It was the memory cards and portable games shouldn’t be like console gaming. Now switch is out and everything they hated Vita for they love switch for and it does less.

Gaming journalism has had it out for vita since it came out. Someone said it was until after Sony stopped 1st party support but you can find articles no more then a year after it’s release from journalist saying it’s dead.

The media just repeats shit until they are right for whatever their agenda is. Took them 8 years of vita is dead to be right. And it’s taking more then 30 years to predict the death of consoles.
Portable was supposed to die with advent of smart phones. And, digital distribution for movies was supposed to kill physical media for movies.

I re-checked myself and saw that I was looking at their revenue last time Take Two is worth $10.87B. Sony is $58.96B, So in terms of who could afford it or not same principle applies where Sony could just buy a little over half of Take Two Shares.
Sony is worth 4billion currently and take two is worth 1.7billion. If Sony bought at least enough shares to become majority owner this really would just be the biggest acquisition in gaming history to date.
And if Sony got their hands on the 2k franchise as well as MLB Sony would be one of the biggest spots for sports gaming. I could only imagine cross collaborations of studios like Bioshock and Naughty dog
I never stop trusting them, I loved the strider remake, I loved SFV regardless what everyone else felt, I loved Resident Evil 7 and recently started enjoying Monster Hunter World WHICH is the first monster hunter game I actually liked playing.
I never cared for the dead rising series so they never lost me there because it never had me. I love Megaman games and can’t think of a Megaman game of late I haven’t liked. I even really enjoyed DmC so they have my trust period.
The game honestly was okay but it gives you an itch with the gameplay it never actually scratches. Control looks to be the game we wanted out of Quantum Break but that might be to early to say until it releases.
I’ve always like the game and it never stopped me from enjoying the previous incarnations (except 2 because 2 is dog shit) and I still want a DmC2 because we can have both universes with different methods of story telling and mechanics.
Only thing I’m concerned about is them releasing 2 identical games for 60 bucks with omissions of select Pokémon based on the previous portable model. I don’t think it was a good idea with lets go eevee and Pikachu and don’t like the idea here either.

I think the biggest issue for me personally was the inconsistent show casings down to the final product. The narratives flow never fit the gameplay where she is truly no better then the enemy she was up against.
It wasn’t like she was a underground grave robber/thief like Nathan. She was supposed to be a coming into her own explorer and she spoke one moment like trinity was this harrowing evil then went postal on them in situations they weren’t even present in.

Resident Evil 7 proves it’s not to early at all for VR. In fact, it’s probably the best experience I have had thus far in VR and I loved every moment of that.
Honestly, I don't care what old gamers think about knack or knack 2. Those games have kept my boys entertained to this day. The games are very solid regardless if it's not a "Mario" platformer.

I’m actually fine with this, who wouldn’t? They have a great template of single player games this gen. That can start great in next gen: GoW2, Horizon 2, Ratchet and Clank 2, Order 1887 etc.
Giving more co-op multiplayer options would be great. I would like them to make a Freedom Wars 2, Killzone 5, Resistance maybe? A sequel to PASBR or even just new adventures.
