Dude how much would those gpus cost? Isnt it better just to get 780 or 780ti which will go down in price and max out whatever you throw at it! The 780 is a beast!
You made some great points! But whats with the choice thing. Ok it comes with Kinect. But we already knew that from before the system was even launched that it was gonna be part of package!
There was a point in time where we thought Kinect was the only way to play with next gen Xbox until they showed a true controller(what a relief)! Yes they should have made a sku without Kinect for people like you! To me the overall package is great! Just not worth the $499 theyre asking...
How much do you think it cost for say, 25 million or 50 million gpus? Also that 3 billion is at a discount price as these companies dont ever pay full price when buying bulk! Also what did Sony end up paying for theres because if they paid less that effed up and MS f that up bigtime!
Not for nothing but when I read article I felt like it was samething MS has been telling us is possible with cloud! And with DX12 these same features will already be implemented. MS was talking ray tracing or whatnot last week to! I just dont see this replacing either DX or OpenGl. Its just another alternative! GDC will prove me right even if someone disagrees.

I like that some devs going with F2P games also have entire game for retail as well. DriveClub, Killer Instincts come to mind right now and im pretty sure others will follow. Im getting retail DriveClub!
Yeah, F2P microtransactions is outrageous! Take for instance Temple Run! It free to play but characters would cost you $20 or more,a costume would cost you the same! You would pay well over $200 easy to unlock all items for that game!

That what I didnt get about the Kinect. I dont mind that its bundled. But why do it if you have no games for it! I would have released XB1 without it and then introduced Kinect 2.0 Kinect Sports bundle for $125-$150!
